23.01.2022 The first Tasmanian soil carbon project was launched today by Tasmanian Agricultural Company and AgriProve. It is great to be working with regenerative, #Wagyu beef producers Steph and SamTrethewey. Building soil carbon means healthier soil, more productive plants, quality livestock and more nutritious food. We look forward to Tasmanian farmers coming on board as the state has ideal rainfall conditions and soils, which could make the state a global leader in soil carbon. Ta...ssie also has the innovative farmers who could build soil health, productivity and climate resilience to make Tasmania a climate ready economy. #regenerativeagriculture #healthysoils #climatechange #sustainableagriculture farmersforclimateaction Tasmanian Climate Change Office Sprout Tasmania NRM South NRM North Cradle Coast NRM Tasmanian Land Conservancy Pip Courtney Louise Gilfedder De Blas Communications Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture Sustainable Living Tas Community Todd Houstein Landcare Tasmania Celia Leverton Anthony Gleeson Anthony James Soils for Life Carbon Market Institute @SLFestAus See more

11.01.2022 What an amazing mushroom. It is like a pink iced cupcake. In the metropolis of the soil, fungi provide the walls and mortar to build the cityscape. They are the neural network of the soil sending information across vast areas, communicating insect attack, instigating plant defenses and sharing resources. Fiona Armstrong
