12.01.2022 Love the skin we're in... Fact: skin is a living organ. Not only that but it is our largest living organ. It is also the only one we get in our lifetime, so it needs nourishing and protecting. To ensure our skin is functioning at its healthiest we need to protect it from too much UV exposure and feed it nutrients (both internally and externally) to keep it the healthiest it can be. A healthy skin will perform at its best to protect the insides of our bodies such as our bone...s, tissue and muscles. An unloved / unhealthy skin will suffer from premature aging, pigmentation and be susceptible to health issues and overall wont function healthily. Some of the things we can do to ensure our skin is loved and healthy is by applying sun protection daily, eating a well balanced diet (including ensuring we are properly hydrated for our body size and activity levels) and maintaining a regular skin care routine that's tailored to what our individual skin requires. Every skin is different and will need an individual skin prescription to have optimal health. So this long weekend make sure we look after our bodies and drink plenty of water so we don't look like weathered old boots :-)
