25.01.2022 Older OTT Condition & WEIGHT Feedchar Debbie’s beautiful story this week: I have had so much trouble with my older OT Thoroughbred, Ollie. He is 25 and keeping weight on him has been a nightmare. When I got Ollie 10 years ago he was in very poor condition. It didn’t take long for him to gain weight but about 8 months in he started having bouts of colic and then major hoof issues. He would lose weight with each issue. I was feeding way too much and nothing was working. I di...d think of giving up and either rehoming him or I would lose him to colic. Recently a post caught my eye FEEDCHAR. At the time Ollie was once again having a hoof problem, so I gave it try, as most of us horse people do. Ollie started to change after 2 weeks! His mane and tail started growing thicker, his ribs started to disappear, his topline was slowly starting to fill, and my boy was starting to look fantastic. His hoof growth has increased, and that shine! I have been using Feedchar now for just over 7 weeks. I find I don’t have to feed as much, and my boy is so much happier. I will be using this for both my horses. So good to see the difference with my own eyes. AF: How do you feed Feedchar? Are you in northern states? How is your grass growth? Have you seen any colic with your animals while on Feedchar? I’m in the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. The grass is growing. We have been fortunate to have grass all year; it's not the best, but we have had some. No signs of colic at all while on Feedchar. I started with 2 scoops in his morning feed and 1 at night, for a week. Then after 1 week, I reduced to 1 scoop morning and 1 at night. AF: Are you happy to continue with Feedchar? It may assist animals with normalising their gut pH and supporting beneficial gut flora, which help to maintain nutrition, weight and condition. Yes! Feedchar’s going to be included in Ollie’s diet for as long as he lives. He will stay with me until he crosses over. It was a promise I made to him when I rescued him. He was a champion racehorse with a very successful career; he came second to Sunline and won over $600,000. He doesn’t get ridden, he just lives the good life. Feedchar has made such a difference to us. I just want to thank you for your awesome product. AF: Thanks for sharing, and all best to Ollie! 22.01.2022 Grass SUGAR and Laminitis Concerns? A handheld BRIX Meter / Refractometer is an easy and relatively inexpensive tool to measure variations in pasture-grass sugar levels. By testing grass samples from the same places and times in your paddock (e.g. morning, noon, and night) over several days, you may determine a high/low pattern to better manage your animals' forage time.... The simple procedure to use the handheld BRIX meter to measure grass sugar is explained in the picture captions. Many clients find that small, inexpensive maintenance doses of Agspand's FEEDCHAR Digestive Aid and Toxin Binder may also assist their animals with managing grass sugars and laminitis year-round! Why not give it a try? Feedchar STOCKISTS or Post Direct via www.agspand.com.au

17.01.2022 Agspand’s FEEDCHAR 4 YEARS IN Now FOUR YEARS in, our Clients Grin, Their Horses GLOWING, Nose to Tail!... Long-term clients’ stories show that Feedchar CAN be economically maintained to support wonderful animal health, through all seasons. What is it? Feedchar contains quality-certified Natural minerals and Organic charcoal (not activated). They are ingredients Animals Seek Themselves to assist with digesting potent plants that do cause Gut Imbalances. The effects of potent plants can include more than just digestion problems such as scouring, ulcers or gas colic, but weight, feet, skin, coat and behaviour problems, too. Long-term dietary imbalances may also contribute to immunity and pregnancy failures. The Very Small amount of minerals in Feedchar work together electrically with the charcoal to Normalise Gut pH, which then supports effective digestion and nutrition. As Feedchar has virtually no nutritional value, taste or smell, then clients' choice of vitamins, extra minerals, all feeds and other organic supplements CAN be added with Feedchar for Nutritional Purposes, as desired. Many horses have used Feedchar for years, and they are Not Falling Over with vitamin and mineral deficiencies here we see the opposite! Molecules "binding" other molecules is a fundamental mechanism of digestion and is to be celebrated! With a balanced, functioning system, nutrition is Better Accessed, not locked up, which is why these animals look so good. While an animal is going well on Feedchar, there is no reason to stop. It may happen sooner but generally people experience the best results after supplementing for a Month to begin, and may continue. Continuing the safe, very Small Maintenance Doses suggested may be particularly important for continuously diet-sensitive animals. Included here is a beautiful 30-year-old horse with Cushings, supplemented with Feedchar for over 3 YEARS, like many others. Agspand also advocates a quality, diverse diet that includes smaller, more frequent meals, access to forage and plenty of hay fibre, movement, good water and shelter. 11.01.2022 Grass HIVES and MUMPS * FEEDCHAR Support Gail says, Starting in November in southern Queensland, my boys get terrible hives, and I think it's the clovers. Last year we battled with this for 6 weeks.... The hives are all over, especially their legs, the worst up between the back legs. Plus one boy sometimes gets swollen sheath and lower legs. First four photos show the reactions he gets for a few days every week after rain, with grass mumps. The last photos show both boys after we returned to Feedchar supplementation, where no hives came back. Also the horses are restricted to one paddock as I think I have clovers everywhere else, white, red, yellow. Agspand’s consultants believe such seasonal grass-related problems may be caused by mycotoxins in the forage after rain and humidity, and/or a raised daily protein intake from increased clover growth in paddocks. We know animals first prefer fresh clover to grass. However, Ag Depts advise plants growing after dry periods can be higher in nitrogen, which may raise the richness of clovers even more. Dietary excesses of carbohydrate and protein may contribute to gut imbalance, the result of which is a digestive system less able to process feeds effectively. Here animals may not only struggle to digest the rich feed, but also to excrete its protein and other wastes, possibly affecting lymph glands, hence hives. Agspand’s Feedchar may support normalising gut pH to assist animals with processing feeds. Suggestions for allergy-sensitive animals are: * Monitor access time to shorter plants and higher-protein forage such as abundant clovers. * Aim for diversity in the diet. At this time of year, continuous access to less-protein-rich hay (not lucerne) may be a good nonsoluble-fibre offset to nitrogen-rich pasture plants. * Supplement frequent, small hard feeds with Agspand’s Feedchar, gut balancer and toxin binder. While digestion problems are obvious, EXTRA Feedchar may be added, then reduce to maintain smaller daily dose onwards. Being mostly non-soluble, with no taste or smell, Feedchar may also be stirred through water that wets down and coats hay. * Supplement gentle herbs to support detox and lymphatic drainage. * If symptoms persist, seek vet assistance if antihistamines are required. While protein is important to health, levels higher than daily energy needs may not add body weight and excess is excreted (Mok & Urschel, 2020). We extend grateful thanks to Gail and Libby, whose caring insights have contributed to this review and share to help others. Local FEEDCHAR Stockists or Post via www.agspand.com.au.

03.01.2022 Need help with SUNBURN and ITCH? Agspand’s FEEDCHAR may assist horses, cattle and all animals with photosensitivity caused by potent plants, especially after drought or dry periods. For example, lantana poisoning causes photosensitivity, with blisters and itchy skin. Many clients find that longer-term supplementation of small amounts of Feedchar through all seasons may assist animals with maintaining their skin integrity so they experience less photosensitivity and sunburn.... Almost no Taste or Smell, Feedchar is easily mixed through feeds. And animals consume it themselves, ad lib. Why not try Feedchar Australia’s own certified Natural and Organic gut balancer and toxin binder for animals? Very economical. STOCKISTS at www.agspand.com.au.

02.01.2022 Aim for HEALTHY FEET with Feedchar! Unfortunately GREASY HEAL and Abscesses may arise if seasonal RAIN and Moist Paddock Conditions weaken hoof integrity. By supporting digestive health, Agspand’s Feedchar may also support Healthy FEET, Skin and Coats, better preparing animals for what the seasons throw at them.... Many clients who maintain small, economical doses of Feedchar All Year see less feet and body condition problems with their animals throughout seasons. To begin, supplement Feedchar for at least a month. While problems are obvious, add more Feedchar. Then reduce to smaller daily maintenance doses in the months afterwards. Any questions about Natural and Organic FEEDCHAR to help your animals? STOCKISTS or Post direct via www.agspand.com.au
