25.01.2022 Sketch in a cold afternoon.

23.01.2022 With some more spare time in my hands these days, drawing is quite welcome indeed!. I missed getting my hands dirty, also awakened some old back pains haha. Charcoal and good old graphite, thank you for watching and take care :)

21.01.2022 My favorite angle for portraiture (3/4 view). I love the chiaroscuro in portraits, one side is clear and exposed while the other is dark and mysterious.

15.01.2022 My drawing of Abasi Concepts, the fantastic guitar player and songwriter of Animals As Leaders!. Their self titled album is one of my favorite records of all time, every riff is beautifully crafted and executed to perfection plus the guitar solos are out of this world.

15.01.2022 It would have been amazing if I drew this from the real deal, lucky trusty google had a good reference image. Drawing from a real statue is on the bucket list for sure! Charcoal and graphite on mixed media board.

10.01.2022 A series of recent commission drawings. These can be real tricky since photo references aren't always the best but its great to hear responses from clients. All these pieces have wonderful stories behind them, i'm just so grateful to be involved!

10.01.2022 Oh how I miss life drawing! Being a model and drawing models are some of my favorite activities, its been forever. Photo references are just not the same although there are Zoom sessions organised by the Life Models' Society - Melbourne . Will give it a try for the next session happening on October 11th.

06.01.2022 My go at drawing a celebrity. The process was fine but I dont feel any kind of connection with this piece, kind of hollow and cold. Buy hey its good practice I guess :P

05.01.2022 Doggy doggy woof woof. Did a drawing which reminded me of some of the german sheperds i encountered as a kid. I was scared to death with the first one because it pulled my leg with its mouth while i was trying to run away from it. My other german sheperd pet bit me pretty deep in the leg, still have that scar till now. Despite all this I still love them sheperd dogs they make good house protectors.

04.01.2022 One of my favorite drawings so far. I did this piece while revisiting some old guilty pleasure movies, namely Friday the 13th movies. Aside from a couple of solid entries, the franchise is known for bad acting, predictable plots and senseless acts of violence. But hey they are so much fun :)

01.01.2022 Here is my latest commission! A Softtail Deluxe Harley Davidson. My customer wanted it to be a one year anniversary gift for her partner :). This is the first motorcycle I have drawn in detail, had to adjust a couple of techniques and introduce new materials to the drawing board but I am quite pleased with the outcome. Alejandro
