06.01.2022 Why do AusChem Training? This course provides the required training to meet the industry standard for chemical use, storage and handling. Webster College can deliver the Agvet Chemical Users Course at a time and location to suit your business. Successful participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment from Webster College Pty Ltd and an AusChem certificate.... Completion of the Agvet course is required before participants can be issued with an Agricultural Chemical Users Permit (ACUP) from Agriculture Victoria, and for people using chemicals within most QA programs. Who should do AusChem Training and what does the course cover? Anyone who uses chemicals both commercial and domestic/agricultural/veterinarian chemicals should complete the training. The course covers: pest ID, Modes of Action, label interpretation, issues associated with chemical use, formulation types, weed and pest control application, animal health, transport and disposal, preparation and clean up, recording and other procedures. How can you do the AusChem Training Course? Face to Face Training at Webster College or we come to YOU*. Our qualified staff can come to your organisation; this will depend on numbers and your location. Call Webster College on 03 9386 5251 and ask for Omar to discuss your business’ needs. How long is the course? Two-day (2) program from 9am 4pm. An individual one-hour calibration assessment is required in addition to this.
