01.01.2022 Horse people - I have only recently discovered how I can use Speedi-Beet for more than just overweight/laminitic horses. I have been feeding lucerne hay and wanted to give the horses an additional multivitamin and mineral supplement without having to do pellet feeds. I now soak the Speedi-Beet for 10 mins in water - or normally I prepare it the night before so it is ready in the morning - and then mix in multivitamin and mineral supplement and a bit of CoolStance Copra Meal. ... I put the Speedi-Beet in the feed bin and the hay next to it. All my horses love it. It has proved to be a winner as the horses have shine to their coat, it has not caused any fizzy behaviour and they are in great condition. It has also proved a great way to give more salt, any other medicines or other supplements.
