24.01.2022 It's the end of WA Sexual Health Week 2021, but we should all continue celebrating and promoting sexual health in its entirety. The theme for this year was Safety, Pleasure, and Respect..... it's all about finding ways to have a healthy sexual life where you experience feeling safe, respected, and, above all, pleasure.

20.01.2022 AHCWA held its staff team building day yesterday, with the fun-filled day beginning with a tour along the banks of the Derbarl Yerrigan. The tour included a smoking ceremony and a guided walk by Nick Abraham from Warrang-Bridil Tours along the river overlooking the city, Matagarup Bridge, and the Optus Stadium Precinct. After lunch, the competition between staff really heated up as staff competed in a series of physical and mental challenges designed to improve motivation, teamwork, and collaboration. The Green team came away with the win and more importantly, bragging rights.

20.01.2022 AHCWA welcomes today’s announcement by the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, the Hon. Ben Wyatt MLA, that the WA Government will provide $4.8m over four years to support the development of the Aboriginal Community Controlled Sector.

19.01.2022 Earlier in the year, the Government made it easier to access your superannuation early. It was a bit confusing to figure out if you were or weren't eligible to do this. Check out this short video from the team over at Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia to help you figure out if you are eligible, and what you can do if you accessed the scheme but maybe weren't eligible.
