It's Abo...ut Time highlighted the number of Australians living with undiagnosed type 2 diabetes and the need for better earlier detection. Many Australians live with type 2 diabetes for up to 7 years before being diagnosed. In that time diabetes-related complications can be developing. Skin Tac is a hypoallergenic, latex free barrier wipe that is super sticky keeping CGM more stable and minimising dislodged pimp sites. It’s not commercially available in Australia but is used quite extensively in the U.S. Available for purchase $1 per swab or 12 for $10.

14.01.2022 Testing out the G6. Here is my review so far: Insertion- I hate inserting G5. I cringe every time! I felt the G6 but only barely. I made sure I inserted in a place that would usually hurt. Lag time- much faster picking up excursions. Accuracy- So far I have not needed to confirm anything with a fingerstick. The readings have all reflected how I feel. This device does not require calibrating so I will let you know! I love the predictive hypo alert! ... The G6 is now available in Australia however is not yet covered by NDSS.
