19.01.2022 One of the main planks of the argument between fossil fuels and renewables is the price of each. Coal fans always insist that the black stuff is cheapest and the International Energy Agency (IEA) has usually backed this up. Until now, that is. The IEA publishes an annual energy outlook that governments around the world use to inform their energy policies and for the first time ever, the IEA says that for most nations, solar energy is cheaper than coal or gas.

Also set up the solar system so that we can see it working on our mobile phones. Really pleased AHLEC th...ank you. - Wes Rogers Read more www.ahlecsolar.com.au/testimonials/

16.01.2022 REVIEW OF THE WEEK Sam & co. installed a 6.6Kw hybrid system on my place a couple of weeks. I couldn’t have been more please with the service. During the free quote, Sam thoroughly explained the installation and grid link up process, including the time frames and fees associated. The installation was very efficiently and neatly undertaken. Sam set up all the wifi connection and phone tracking app, with a full explanation ready to go! I can’t wait to get Sam back to insta...ll a battery! Many thanks Ahlec! - Tony Read more www.ahlecsolar.com.au/testimonials/

13.01.2022 REVIEW OF THE WEEK I had searched the Internet for reviews of installers, particularly after what appeared to be an overpriced quote from another installer. The reviews I found about Ahlec encouraged me to contact them. I asked Ahlec to provide a rough quote on exactly the same panels and inverter as the other company. Austin got back to me quickly and even sent by email a complete quote (subject to site visit). His quote was over $4000 less than the other! I arranged fo...r Austin to come to my house and was impressed with his knowledge and manner and gave him the go ahead. The installation was completed yesterday and the installers even repaired a faulty ceiling fan switch. They replaced the switch mechanism rather than the fan and control rather than the controller plus fan that has been done in the past by two other electricians. Can’t praise these guys enough! - Norm Read more www.ahlecsolar.com.au/testimonials/

04.01.2022 Graziers Will and Dorothy Graham run cattle on their Withersfield Station ranch near Emerald in central QLD. The Graham family has lived on the 50,000-ha ranch since the 1950s but are finding it harder to raise as many cattle due to increasing droughts. Mr Graham believes that the droughts are becoming more frequent, especially in the last decade, due to climate change, which is leading to less grass and more land erosion.

01.01.2022 The Queensland government recently unveiled a $1 billion covid-19 recovery package and half of this amount is to go towards fast-tracking the creation of three renewable energy zones. QLD premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced the $500 million Renewable Energy Fund in early September, as well as announcing that the other $500 million would go towards helping out small and medium-sized businesses in Queensland.
