25.01.2022 ACWA MUHARRAM ANNOUNCEMENT (Aug 2020): Once again, the month of Muharram has arrived, the tragic month of oppression that has always reawakened the conscience of history. Bearing in mind the necessity to revive the tragedy of Ashura in the annual Muharram mourning ceremonies for the martyrdom of Imam Hussain A.S on the one hand, and on the other hand, the special conditions due to the COVID - 19 pandemic, we advise everybody to take the following precautions:... 1.In order to prevent the spread of illness caused by the COVID-19, everybody must act in accordance to the rules. 2.According to the new rules issued, the possibility of holding indoor gatherings is not possible without restrictions depending on their circumstances. Following the above, it is adviced that the special and restricted programs for the month of Muharram at the ACWA centre be organised. Programs starting from Friday 21st August to Sunday 30th of August. ACWA centre capacity = 100 people/ per one Majlis. 8 Nights mens only program. Women's Program: Only 2 days of womens program have been organised on 7thMuharram and evening of 10thof Muharram (Shame Ghareeban). Children under age of 12will Not be allowedto enter the ACWA premises. With theexception of members of the management and volunteers,No oneis allowed to participate more than one Majlis, so that maximum number of people can attend the Majalis while maintaining health precautions. 10 NIGHTS ACWA MAJALIS PROGRAM: 1.Maghrabain Prayers (6:15pm) 2.Arabic Majlis; 30-40 mins (Time 6:20 -7pm). By the end of Arabic Majlis, all attendees must leave the hall. 3.Farsi Majalis; 30-40 mins (Time 7:10 -7:50pm). By the end of Farsi Majlis all attendees must leave the hall. 4.English Majlis; 40-50 mins (Time 8:10- 9pm). 5.Followed by Noha & Latmiyat. During the 10 nights please follow the rules of social distancing/ prescribed health and safety precautions. 12.01.2022 Congratulations to you all on the birth of Hazrat Masoumah (s.a). Although never having married or experienced motherhood, traditions from the Ahlulbayt draw parallels between Hazrat Masoumah and her great grandmother, Hazrat Fatima (a.s.). One such tradition is that whoever would like to pay respects to Hazrat Fatima (a.s.) should instead visit the shrine of Hazrat Masoumah. We cannot always control circumstances in life, but Hazrat Masoumah is a great example of h...ow circumstances do not determine our worth. As traditions explain Hazrat Masoumah did not get the chance to raise kids like Hazrat Fatima (a.s.), but nevertheless, she was a helper to her Imam. During the days that her father, Imam Khadhim (a.s.), was in prison, people would approach her to answer their questions.
