23.01.2022 UPDATE!! We have unfortunately had some delays in the launch of our new fresh department! We are set to open March 5th! Our builders are also scheduled to commence laying a brand new floor mid March! Thank you everyone for your patience!

22.01.2022 We regret to inform that we are experiencing significant shortages in supply. Panic purchasing in metropolitan areas has had a detrimental effect on supply in Regional areas, which is not limited to toilet paper. We would like ensure everyone that we are working endlessly to try and resolve this issue with suppliers, however the circumstances are out of our control. We apologise for any inconvenience. Should anyone have questions or concerns management is available anytime.

A new extended range available for our customers, our team worked well into Thursday night to ensure we delivered on Friday 7th August as promised! We thank you for your patience and understanding while our range was temporarily reduced! ... Enjoy!

20.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers, UPDATE! Meat case extension is now complete we now have a new and exciting range of grab and go meals including My Muscle Chef! Yes We Love Pizzas are back as promised! The Deli has increased its range and now offers premium gluten free sausages and salami! ... New Dairy cases are being installed and the transition commenced!

20.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers, We are providing an update to the Gulgong community, as many already know we continue to face supply shortages across major departments and categories. Supply has increased and stock replenished in certain categories, although we have a long way to go. Hyper- Demand has seen produce and meat prices soar over the last week as high as we have ever seen. ... Dairy & Freezer is now experiencing significant shortages in supply, we expect this may worsen over the coming days as we saw Hyper-Demand over the weekend and continuing. As communities and retailers we are all in uncharted territory, we continue to work with our suppliers endlessly to resolve issues. We assure the Gulgong community we are doing everything we can and request your understanding and patience.

16.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers, As the situation in Australia escalates and emotions run high, our staff unfortunately have been dealing with abusive and aggressive customers. Here is our stance on this in all our stores ZERO TOLERANCE! We will not stand for it, our staff are there to help you not be abused. It is our duty of care and responsibility to ensure that all our staff are safe. The current situation is NOT their fault, they are doing an incredible job in tough circumstance...s. We value all our customers, as owners we are making ourselves available for any customer should they wish to discuss the current circumstances and assure we will help in any way we can. However should any customer abuse, or show aggression toward any member of our staff we will remove them from the store immediately and they will not be returning. We also thank everyone else, because the majority of our customers have been understanding and amazing!

15.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers, As we approach the end of the year, we have our tradesman working endlessly to have our new liquor department open by the 14th of December. Customers may have noticed our new service area is down and operational! ... It has been a challenging 13 months undertaking an expansion and complete store renovation, however we are excited as we approach the final stages and look forward to having the entire project wrapped up before Xmas! We are proud to deliver a brand new award winning store and shopping experience for the Gulgong community for many years to come!

13.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers, After some unfortunate delays we are pleased to inform we have commenced the stores new floor. We apologise for the disruption to the stores shopping area and request your patience in the coming weeks as we move through and lay the brand new floor! We promise it will be well worth it! ... Over the coming months Gulgong residents will have a new floor, new dairy & freezer departments, extended meat and new service area! Macquarie Alarms and Security are also currently installing the latest security camera system throughout the store, so thieves smile for the cameras we finally have you covered !

11.01.2022 We are officially set to OPEN our NEW Fresh Department on Thursday 5th March! Come in & check it out loads of opening SPECIALS! Also our Deli will close @ 5pm tomorrow, to commence the change over into the new area we apologise in advance for any inconvenience! Thank you for your patience!

10.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers, An update for the community, we are slowly seeing supply levels improving in categories however supply is still scarce in others, we expect this to be the case for sometime as manufacturers get product back into the supply chains. However there is good news in Produce and Meat, we have seen prices start to decline and supply stabilise, all notices have now been removed off our meat cases and specials recommenced. Produce has also recommenced in store ...specials. As for an update on the current covid-19 situation, we now encourage social distancing in all our stores, markers have been placed in high traffic areas to assist customers keeping distance from one another, we request customers keep their distance from our staff and Perspex screens have been installed on our registers for our staff safety, hand sanitiser and sanitiser spray now available at the entrance for our customers and our staff are periodically carrying out sanitisation of all high touch areas. 10.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers, We would like to inform the community we are officially launching a home delivery service for seniors and those self-isolating commencing tomorrow. We will be working in conjunction with the team @ Gulgong Post Office to facilitate this. How it works? ... 1. Place an order via email [email protected] or Phone by 12pm each day. 2. Order will be picked packed in store. Store will call to collect payment via credit card. 3. Deliveries will commence each afternoon and delivered to your homes. We request that this service only be used by Seniors or those isolating, we have established this service to assist those in need and unable to leave their homes. * Delivery charges apply & maximum 4km from town centre.

10.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers, As some time has now passed since the covid-19 panic purchasing saga, we are well on the road to recovery. Supply chains are recovering and supply improving each week. Customers may have noticed that we have now completed 80% of the stores new floor, our meat case extension will be operational by late this week and will soon range seafood, pizzas, grab and go meals, soups and more!... Our new Dairy cases have arrived on site and technicians are commencing installation, freezers due to arrive late June! New shelving and service area is expected to arrive mid July!

02.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers, We have received an overwhelming call to stop out of town purchasing and keep locals only, we wish to address this for all. At present we have not seen bus loads of people arriving, however we have noticed an increase in foot traffic in the store that could definitely be as a result of out of town purchasing. However we are not equipped to police this, it is extremely difficult to distinguish an out of town customer purchasing as oppose to local, our s...taff are not trained to request identification or proof of address and safety of our staff is at risk when refusing entry or service to these customers. We value all our customers and hope everyone understands that safety of our staff members is paramount. We have taken measures to minimise panic purchasing by introducing further limits on all frozen lines, we will also be controlling any excessive purchases in any category this is in order to try and create equal opportunity with the limited supply available. 01.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers, 2020 has without doubt been a dynamic year for not just the supermarket retail industry but humanity, as retailers and a society no one was prepared for the challenges, however as history has shown we adapt, learn and collectively resurface stronger. However amidst the bleak it is also important to recognise and reflect on our achievements and for us there has been many in 2020, we are pleased to inform that we have now concluded all major renovations ...of our Gulgong store. Ahmedi’s SUPA IGA Gulgong now offers our valued customers new fresh departments with a better quality selection of produce, meat and deli we have also added Chicken Express, Sumo Salads and Zummo Juice providing a truly unique offer for all. Our grocery range has been extended adding over 2500 new lines to the store. Dairy and Freezer have also had massive expansions with over 1500 new lines now available. Recently our new Liquor department opened, which now offers a large new self serve cool room and extended range of Beers, Wines and Spirits. Finally we have a new service area down to help better serve our customers and reduce queues and YES all our belts work ! We would like to thank Gulgong for your continued support and loyalty, Of course what makes a great store is a great team and here in Gulgong we have the best, thank you to our Management team and all our staff they work endlessly to maintain our standards and assist our customers. 01.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers, We wish to provide an update to the Gulgong Community, as many have seen we have been heavily effected by panic purchasing and stock levels are currently diminished. Supply for all major retailers is scarce, we have received a much needed load late tonight however it is still not sufficient to bring stock to an acceptable level. We are working hard with suppliers to resolve these issues however as everyone may understand much is out of our control. Un...til such time purchasing limits within the store will remain in place. We are working with meat suppliers and are receiving daily deliveries to replenish stock and currently working with produce suppliers to receive additional deliveries and replenish stock. Grocery, Dairy & Freezer are a work in progress however we are doing everything we can. It has been requested by many to have special trading hours for the elderly community, at this stage we are working through the logistics of how or if we can make this possible and will inform everyone should this be implemented. We understand the frustration our customers may be experiencing and we request your patience and understanding in these unprecedented difficult times.
