12.01.2022 Hello, my name is Siena Bhuiyan and my tribe is the Anaiwan tribe, but I live on the lands of the Dharawal people. My inspiration for this artwork is the Aboriginal nurses and the winter season. Our Aboriginal nurses play a very important role when it comes to Aboriginal health issues. They are the friendly faces that remind us of all our mothers who look after our wellbeing from the very moment we are created. I use bright and vibrant colours to show the warm and friendly e...nvironment we can experience when getting our flu shot and I use symbols like gathering of tribes and water hole with the raining of dots to show we are now in the winter season.
