20.01.2022 Ive always loved the Tissot Antimagnetique. I believe its perhaps the best watch they made. Although when you come across one with military provenance... Its purely epic!! Hailing from the Somerset area in England, Ted(Edward) Betty served in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps during WW2, as an engineer. It made sense for him to use this watch, as it was resistant to magnetism. The letter it came with was a sweet touch... Penned by two Italian men, thanking him for his friend...ness and wishing him happyness. The broken Italian-English just adds to the already flavoursome details. What a hearty piece this was! Thank you @lauracroc for transcribing the letter; Thanks to @ir15lo for being the next custodian. #oldsouls

It took TWO attempts and a bit of teeth-grinding over a few weeks, for us to finally achieve it to their level of perfect, but Im glad we pulled through.
