22.01.2022 Thank you for everything you do to support human rights! A big congratulations for your group’s very successful AmnesTEA this year, and for collecting an incredible 489 actions to help protect the lives of activists around the world. Thank you also for standing up for women’s rights with the #ToxicTwitter O-week stall and women’s rights speakers panel. Your contribution to this campaign has helped reduce the visibility and impact of trolls on women's freedom of speech online. Have a great break over summer and hope to see you again in the New Year!

16.01.2022 More than one million people have been 'disappeared' in Xinjiang, in far western China. They are members of the Uyghur community, an ethnic minority of Muslims in China, with their own language and culture. Hundreds of thousands have been dragged off to mass detention camps for as little as wearing a headscarf, downloading an app, or talking to family overseas. At this important event in Hobart, you can show your solidarity and support for the Uyghur people and hear a first hand account of what is happening right now in far western China from community leader Nurmuhhamad.
