24.01.2022 email sent to all members: The Board has met and made a difficult decision to consider the future of our organisation. We have serious concerns about our ability to continue in the long term. We have low participation in programs and limited options for ongoing base funding which makes running a not for profit a difficult situation. Should you like to provide input to the future of the organisation you are invited to attend a Special General Meeting on Sunday 13th September at Lotteries House at 2pm. 24.01.2022 Hi to all members and friends of Aidan's Place. An email was sent to all members yesterday advising of a serious consideration of the Board after meeting last night. As many of you know Aidan's Place is a locally run not for profit with some welcome support from the Local City of Greater Geraldton, however we have no secure ongoing base funding. We have had low attendance at all of our programs and some have not have had enough to be run. This causes us great concern and prom...pted us to reconsider the direction of the organisation. Please understand this has not been considered lightly nor quickly. The email sent to members will also be posted. I am happy to have your feedback and my contact details are below. I know Aidan's Place has meant a great deal to some of you, as it has to me, taking much of the direction of my energy and passion for the last 8 years and for those that know me will understand that this is not the future any of us wanted for the organisation.
