21.01.2022 My great friend and fellow artist @laurelfoenanderart just won the 2021 Maritime Art Prize for her incredible artwork 'Lest We Forget'. Laurel is an incredible talent and seeing this piece in the flesh stopped me dead in my tracks....I was so moved by the work especially following the 2019 bushfires which this piece speaks to....well done Laurel, I could not be happier for you, can't wait to celebrate with you soon

18.01.2022 || Magenta's Gift || 125cm x 125cm || One of the few native florals from my show || Only In Spring || at @gullottigalleries_official . I was getting a coffee from the local cafe @cannibalcreek_wood_fired_baker and snapped a few pics of their impressive silver princess that welcomes you to their front door. This was one of the snaps I took that made its way to canvas. Tried something a little new with the 'bell' to get that velvety silver look. DM @gullottigalleries_official for more details
