14.01.2022 Here is an update on our gorgeous Olivia and a lovely email i received from her parents Hi, First of all please accept our sincere gratitude and Thank you for being part of her brave and tough journey. Ovie is a patient of the Eye Clinic at Royal Children's Hospital and is currently being monitored for amblyopia. Initially, Ovie has Diagnosed with Chalazion, Epiblepharon, and Anisometropia. She being through three eye operations and no eyelashes touching the cornea anymore b...ut incidentally noted Anisometropia with myopia and astigmatism. And has repaired Epiblepharon with scar revision. Orthoptist has recommended Ovie a single vision distance glasses. Ovie had just got her spectacles on 31st October, which was last week. 01.01.2022 Today 7 year old Olivia Dias received her first pair of glasses. Thank you to the team at Casey Optometrist who assisted her and sent through the pics and her journey so far. Her parents were extremely happy that ACE Foundation was able to assist Olivia with a FREE pair of glasses
