22.01.2022 It was a close call here with the earth, co-ax (tv)completely severed and the active & neutral unmetered mains millimetres from shorting out. The plumber was 8 feet high on a aluminium ladder Always use insulated fibreglass ladders when drilling/cutting as this could have very easily ended fatally. @ Carlton North, Victoria, Australia

22.01.2022 Its always a team effort.

21.01.2022 Vulcanised Indian rubber cable removed from a partial rewire. As the video depicts the cable is extremely fragile and deteriorates. Company policy requires the main switch to be locked off before entering a roof space with such wiring. If you live in a home 50+ years old have your wiring verified by a licensed & insured electrician.

20.01.2022 We were called to a sub-board tripping, effecting power, lights, septic tank & water pumps. Further investigation led us to a burnt out circuit breaker and 2 contactors for the tennis court lights on the light pole. Fault found and rectified same day. Game, set, match.

20.01.2022 Ceramic fuse upgrade to individual RCBO safety switches. Our client was robbed of over $50’000 of musical equipment. We moved swiftly to upgrade this switchboard; due to regulation we needed to upgrade this switchboard in order for us to deliver a state of the art security & lighting package. @wynnslocksmiths

18.01.2022 Our director Andy attending to a Saturday afternoon emergency call out. 2 phases had shorted out, blowing the fuses at the meter panel, leaving the resident with only one phase in service. We wired lights and some power to the existing phase until we could upgrade the switchboard Monday morning. A fire luckily escaped

17.01.2022 Replacement of this MACK RCBO. Recalled by ESV nearly 10 years ago... The product fails the 6kA short circuit test. Following a rare high fault current event at full rated capacity, the RCBO may pose an electrical shock risk. @ Heidelberg, Victoria, Australia

16.01.2022 Bathroom renovation for @milddesignz @ Northcote, Victoria

16.01.2022 Earthing systems/electrodes installed over the last couple weeks. Earthing system is the most important component to your electrical installation (as well as the M.E.N system). We install 6mm to all earth electrodes (requires minimum 4mm in domestic scenario). Earthing systems are installed not just for safety but also for functional purposes. It provides a path for fault current to flow to earth via the earth electrode. It also causes the safety switch to trip, minimising the amount of time person/s are exposed to live conductors. @ Lower Plenty, Victoria, Australia

15.01.2022 Mains and switchboard upgrade to accommodate a 7kw split system, nearly doubling the capacity of the installation. We relocated the point of attachment to comply with current SIRs (Service & installation rules) and housed the switchboard and meter in a B&R weatherproof as the existing ceramic board was exposed to the weather. @ Fitzroy, Victoria
