The current situation of social distancing may continue in some form for some time to support the suppression of the spread of COVID19. The dojo will reopen for practice as soon as it is safe to do so. We will of course continue to observe strict hygiene to look after our members and our community. Stay the course, be well and we shall see you all again soon.

11.01.2022 Please note, even with COVID-19 restrictions starting to lift, we all need to remain vigilant with hygiene - there will be a hand wash station available at the dojo - please make use of this before and after training. Read the post below for general rules for hygiene.
08.01.2022 Adult classes are restarting tonight 5/11/2020 6pm NSW time at Bilambil Hall. More information on kids classes to follow. See you on the mats.
05.01.2022 The rear arrest technique used by Greg (on the right) hails from feudal Japan, where the swordsman's (right) sword hand was all important to control. The swordsman on the other hand needed to deal with such an attempt quickly as losing access to weapons could mean death. The original waza (technique) would have attacked the right hand (sword hand) however in modern times we practice waza on both sides for balance.
05.01.2022 Daito ryu classes for youth and adults are calling- if you are aged between 13 and whatever, come join us on an adventure of discovery. Best $10 for 2hrs you can spend on yourself
03.01.2022 Aiki Kids - Yellow Belt Tachiai (standing)Hello yellow belts - here are the next two standing techniques for you to practice. Best not practice these if you haven't done them before. To practice these you will need adult supervision, a safe place with enough space to roll and break-fall (ukemi). You and your partner should be confident with your ukemi on the surface you will practice on.
