18.01.2022 This weekend was for me.. because Self Care isn’t selfish! A weekend away, to do what I wanted to do for 3 days. (But as most mums out there know, it’s easier to spoil yourself when it’s also for a great cause!) so 3 days of crafting uninterrupted for me raising money for Cancer research. (All the feels) Today is the last morning with this wake up view... ... it’s been a very creative weekend with lots of craft being done, yesterday we even had 3 lovely ladies come out and spoil us with manicures and pedicures by Bel, massages with Charmaine, and relaxing facials with Antoniette Conner https://www.facebook.com/Antoniette-Conner-Beauty-Therapis/ All the while raising money for breast cancer and prostate cancer with Arty Crafty For Cancer https://www.facebook.com/artycraftyforcancer/ If you are interested in a weekend retreat contact Arty Crafty for more information! 01.01.2022 ‘Creating time’ for yourself can seem overwhelming! Believe me I know the struggle! I’m a mum of 5 and wife to a super supportive husband who always has my back! ... So getting to spend just 10-20 mins ALONE here with a beautiful Australian wine is not a constant, in fact I haven’t had a chance to do this in over 5 months But it was a necessity for me today, life gets stressful, things crop up. Kids are kids, as I’m getting older so are my and my husband’s parents. It’s nothing huge, it’s just life! But I felt I was losing me again. So I purchased the cutest looking fox shaped bath bomb from The Body Shop- Bunbury store. Let’s give a Shout out to the workers in stores! Chynna helped me choose a fabulous relaxing scent (Britsh Rose) if you see a TBS store GO IN and grab yourself a bath bomb! At $6rrp they are wonderfully fragrant and leave the softest scent lingering in the skin that feels so soft after your soak! And can I just say the animal shapes Turtles, foxes, squirrels to name a few ... I hope you have had a chance to take 5 mins for you this weekend. Comment below what your go to relax time is! Ax
