25.01.2022 Important announcement! There is so much uncertainty in the world right now, and while I'm hopeful everything will return to normal in a couple of months, I have made the very tough decision to postpone the upcoming 'On the Couch with Aimee Morrisby' fundraising luncheon. The health and safety of our guests is very important to us. As disappointing as it is, we simply cannot move forward with event in July.... We are closely monitoring recommendations by governing bodies, and will hopefully be able to secure a new date that will not be affected in the near future. Once the new date has been confirmed, we will be in touch with you all. I would like to thank you for your overwhelming support of On the Couch in 2020. 25.01.2022 Good Evening everyone, I hope you are all keeping happy and healthy. I wanted to share some really exciting news with you all. As you are aware On The Couch was to be held for the second year in July this year but with Covid-19 changing the world we had to make the difficult decision to cancel. After many months of planning, late nights and early mornings I have decided to launch my very own podcast. I will dive into a large range of topics. From living with a chronic disea...se, business, mum life, social media, relationships and mental health, I promise to deliver a raw, honest and empowering message. Being born with an incurable bowel disease and having a daughter with husband Jake via surrogacy it’s evident that my down-to-earth nature will empower and inspire you to want to do more with the one life you get. 25.01.2022 Happy Sunday // What you see What you see is a brand-new pair of trendy jeans from asos. I know how cool are they and if you seen m stories on them yesterday you’d know just how affordable yet comfy they are! What you don’t see is underneath them is a body that been butchered for the past 30 years. I have so many scars I’ve actually lost count. My most recent is from my hysterectomy that goes from one hip to the other. It’s like a smiley face so I don’t mind.... What you don’t see is a colostomy bag that keeps me alive. I used to have two! But now I’m fortunate enough to just have the one and hopefully it will stay that way. I’ve become the CEO of covering up but still keeping up with the fashion trends. Who doesn’t love a fresh pair of jeans! But they have to be above the belly button! Not because I want to cover up but because it is actually just far more comfortable. It shocks people when they hear I have a bag; they immediately look down and say but where? Well, I don’t walk around naked so that’s why you can’t see anything! Moral of the post is never judge a book by its cover! 21.01.2022 Yesterday I had the pleasure of presenting this $10,000 out of the $20,062.83 will go directly to the Toowoomba Base Hospital Paediatric ward. Toowoomba Hospital Foundation have some very exciting plans with the revamp of the ward in 2020 and I am thrilled that just by simply sharing my life story has made the difference & helped contribute. ...
