I don’t know about anyone else, but I am supremely hard on myself to be performing in a manner that receives constant progression, and in the midst of that pressure I normally make myself miserable by looking so far ahead that every achievement I’ve made to get to this point becomes forgotten. This morning I woke with no alarm to the sun tickling my face and that in itself is pretty damn great! #stayhome

15.01.2022 Today I drew a picture to send to my Nanny who has Alzheimer’s! I tried to make it as child-Aimee-like as possible (aka everything revolved around unicorns). Nanny has become very nostalgic in the midst of Alzheimer’s and the general hope is it will spark some fond memories for her, and bring comfort and clarity even if it’s brief!

14.01.2022 Logo refresh for @studioaraluen ~ with a beautiful indigenous word meaning ‘water lily’ ~ Mel really wanted some loose lines for the illustration, and after a hunt for the perfect font we ended up going with my cursive hand writing for something unique, a little off balance, but somehow it all just works!
