Specially for us moms, we always prioritize our spouse or kids and we always put our self last. Not to mention the household chores that seems never-ending. They say that it takes a village to raise a child but what if you don't have that village and all you have is yourself? 18.01.2022 Thankful Thursday I was emotional yesterday looking back at Yana’s old photos. I can’t believe she’s already 1 year old and that I’m with her celebrating her first birthday. Last year we were separated for 3 months and I was crying most of the nights when I was thinking about her. I am so thankful I was able to bring her here in Australia before the travel ban was imposed. If not, maybe she wouldn’t recognize me as her mummy anymore. It’s hard to travel alone with a baby for... long hours but I know I’ll do anything for her. It is true that you’ll never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have. Being a new mom taught me so many things. I learned how to endure pain, to sacrifice, to be stronger, to be wiser and to love more than I ever knew I could love. I must admit it’s not that easy and definitely not a walk in the park. But it’s the most fulfilling and rewarding job I could ever have. I thank the Lord for everything, for Yana’s life, for giving me the privilege to be Yana’s mom and for the gift of family. I am also grateful I found a way to be with my daughter everyday and still be able to help my husband with our earnings. I am so thankful to our Digital Business that does the heavy lifting for me. I can manage it using just my phone/laptop and works even when I’m asleep. I also want to thank Louie for being very supportive in all that I do. When I looked up it was sis Amelia Tuipulotu with a big smile on her face with her cutie baby Nasiu. ... I first met sis Amelia Online through our Digital Business and now I finally met her in person unexpectedly. And Yana also met Nasiu for the first time. Actually we were planning to have a meet up when things get better with other business partners who are also from Sydney but we didn’t know we’ll meet sooner. 09.01.2022 Korean Food Last night we surprised a friend on her Birthday for dinner in a korean restaurant with our Bible Study Group. She wasn't surprised at all because she kind of expected it already. This was the first time we tried Japchae noodles, different versions of korean fried chicken, seafood pancake & teokbokki (spicy rice cake not in the photo). We enjoyed the food and had a great time with friends. Yana enjoyed playing with her friend too. ... Have you tried Korean food? Do you like it?

06.01.2022 I got new shoes unintentionally! Not one but TWO! STORY: My husband ordered two pairs of shoes online for Yana because her shoes doesn’t fit her anymore (Growing up too fast I guess). He was excited about it and keeps on telling me that it will arrived exactly on Yana’s birthday (which is in two days). But surprisingly it arrived today. He was rushing upstairs, told me the shoes were bigger and asked me to try it on to see if it fits me. Luckily both of them did fit me. ... So Mummy instantly got 2 pairs of new shoes! Yay! He was so relieved that it fits me so it would not go to waste. Good thing is we also bought Yana a pair of shoes today when we went shopping for her dress. So it’s a win-win for Mommy & Baby. 01.01.2022 We used to ride in one of these boats whenever we go to the beach and when I was little, I remember my naughty cousin paddled through the middle of the ocean, waited for a ferry to pass by and jumped off the boat, swam further leaving me and my much younger cousin inside the boat shocked and scared of the big waves. I almost cried screaming for help. But now as I was looking back, it was a nice experience after all.
