Aussies will also be able to freely travel internationally once their state reaches 80% vaccination rate. 02.01.2022 RETURN OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS TO AUSTRALIA International students will soon be allowed to return to Victoria, Australia under the International Students Arrival Plan submitted to the Federal Government. Once approved, 120 students per week will be allowed to enter Victoria from end of 2021. Under the first stage of the plan, priority will be given to postgraduate and research students, and those undertaking practical work to complete their degrees. There is no applicatio...n process. The universities will choose and contact enrolled students who can return to Victoria. The students have to pay their plane fare but quarantine costs will generally be covered by the universities. The second stage of the plan will include international students enrolled in TAFE, English language colleges, private education providers and secondary schools.
