22.01.2022 Be your own website guru with 1:1 Wordpress Design & Management Training {BOOK NOW} It became very REAL to my late last year that 50% of clients want their website to be managed ongoing, and 50% want to do it themselves and I am here to support you whatever choice you make. Either way your website MUST be managed consistently and if you are unsure why look at my previous posts on website management. ... In order to successfully manage your website, like any profession and skill, training should be provided and I AM HERE FOR YOU! Wordpress is deemed to be one of the most complicated website systems to use, but with 1:1 training and support I can promise you I will have you feeling like a real website designer once our training is completed. Here is what the training involves: - Website systems overview. What website system are you using and how to use it. - Logging into your system as an administrator and making changes to user accounts. - Changing business information. - Accessing plugins and apps and making updates. - Theme and website builder overview and how to make changes and updates. - Making design changes such as copywriting changes and image upload. - Launching Google Analytics reporting and overview of report. - Custom integrations overview and uploading third party apps. - Final 10 minutes of questions and summary. *Training sessions are 2 hour intervals only. If you require further training this will be booked at an alternate date and time. {Limited availability and you will need to apply before being accepted to training to ensure you have the right equipment, software and dedicated time-frame before we begin}. 08.01.2022 Your website is loading SLOWLY and THIS is WHY! Every image must be compressed prior to upload! Not resizing and saving your images to a smaller file size, will affect your websites load time. It's fact that at least 40% of online users abandon a website that takes more than 3 seconds to load. So the goal is to compress your images to the smallest file size possible, while still maintaining an acceptable image quality for online use. ... Also, keep in mind that there is a difference between saving your file as a JPEG or PNG! PNG is of higher quality, but a larger files size. JPEG reduces quality for a smaller file size and will need to be adjusted to find the right balance. Compressing images can be done through Photoshop if you are and Adobe user, or for those who are not check out TinyPNG. WORDPRESS USERS: WP Smush Plugin is good one to add to your website to help reduce file sizes in bulk or manually within your website. Let me know if this is helpful? And if you plan to compress images before upload from now on See more
