23.01.2022 The controversial "emergency vehicle slow down" rule is going to be changed to make it safer for everyone. The 40kph limit no longer applies on higher speed roads (over 90kph). The rule has also been expanded to require drivers to slow down when they pass tow trucks and break down assistance vehicles with flashing lights. ... Drivers also need to make sure they give sufficient space to the emergency, tow truck, or assistance vehicle and give way to people in the vicinity of it.
