25.01.2022 All our staff have been offered free flu shots to help keep them as healthy as possible over the next few months. Here’s Dean from Woden getting his jab today - he didn’t wince a bit! Thanks to Kylie and Colette from Chemart Ainslie for helping the Club arrange this.

23.01.2022 Always a pleasure to help our wonderful neighbours at Ainslie BAKEHOUSE. Our special hand sanitiser is made on site in our Canberra Compounding Chemists lab and is of the highest non-toxic quality.

22.01.2022 Have you had your flu shot yet? It’s quick, affordable and easy to do in-store, and one of the best ways to avoid getting sick on what’s cracking up to be a very cold winter Thanks to our friends at the Ainslie Football Club - Juniors for sharing, we love to support our community

21.01.2022 Since we can't get out and support our local club in person these days, we are enjoying Ainslie Football Club's Throwback Thursdays :)

14.01.2022 What a great start to 2020- welcoming back our special integrative medicine medical practitioner Dr Sandra Cabot! It's always a pleasure hosting you at our pharmacy. If you live in or around Canberra, you can make an appointment to see Dr Cabot for a one-on-one medical appointment right here in Ainslie!

14.01.2022 When clever Helena and Brian at the Goodwin Independent Retirement Units started organising lunches for fellow residents on the holiday long weekends, they were helped by Manuel and the talented team from the outstanding Ainslie IGA. On today’s menu was lasagna, roasted vegetables and salad. Colette invited herself and Walter and plated up 82 chocolate mousse for dessert. Yes chef. What an inclusive, vibrant, personal community, to be blessed to belong to.

13.01.2022 TerryWhite Ainslie is celebrating 20 years of running the annual giving tree with St Vincent De Paul Give back to your local community this year by coming into our store and giving a gift by Wednesday the 18th of December! TWCM Ainslie

12.01.2022 --- P2 FACE MASKS IN STOCK --- We received a delivery of P2 face masks this afternoon. The masks that have been supplied to our pharmacy through the ACT Government and via the Federal Government are rationed to the most vulnerable people who are at the most risk with their health. They are supplied at no charge. ... We ask our customers who do not fit these criteria to respect others with immediate and greater health needs. These customers who still need masks should contact the pharmacy and pay for their masks as they become available. Thanks for your understanding. Stay safe Canberrans!

11.01.2022 Still in need of your flu vaccination? We are now accepting walk-ins! A flu vaccination can help to protect you and your family from infection caused by the influenza virus. The more people are vaccinated in the community, the less likely it is for the disease to spread. Pop into our pharmacy at Ainslie Shops and we will get you sorted out with your annual influenza vaccination right away. Open 7 days a week.

11.01.2022 Wombat Wednesday, and the bittersweet tale of Harriet. Look through the pics to see how she was saved.

10.01.2022 A great honour to receive this thank you card from a customer who has been coming to Ainslie Pharmacy since 1968!

09.01.2022 Well the old saying is that "you never know until you ask". Thank you Care Pharmaceuticals for donating 22,000 Hydralyte samples to the rural fire fighters, it is appreciated.

08.01.2022 We are very happy to be able to help Jura, the cheetah. Jura has eosonophillic oesophagitis, a condition of severe inflammation of the oesophagus. The oesophagu...s connects the mouth to the stomach making eating or drinking extremely painful. We compounded her anti inflammatory steroid medication in a thick oily mixture to coat her oesophagus to protect it and to have a longer lasting effect than a thin liquid. We hope she is recovering and eating well. See more

07.01.2022 Our expert team of compounders have been hard at work in the lab to produce our very own Canberra Compounding Chemists hand sanitiser. Our sanitiser is WHO-grade and does NOT contain methylated spirits, which is toxic. Pop in to Ainslie to grab some of your own!

03.01.2022 It was a pleasure to have our local MP Alicia Payne - Labor for Canberra visit the pharmacy and compounding lab this week :)

03.01.2022 Thank you Chad and the team at Dominos. What a thoughtful and generous gesture to shout lunch for the tireless staff at our pharmacy. It has been challenging times in store and we appreciate you recognising our contribution to our community.

03.01.2022 Harriet's Story. Brave Harriet was orphaned at 7 months of age. She has two puncture wounds on the back of her neck from when she was attacked by a fox. She had... to undergo surgery several times to reconstruct the injured area and to remove shards of broken bone and infection from the site. Initially she was given intravenous antibiotics but after a time her little legs were unable to tolerate the IV line and her vet decided to give her oral antibiotics instead. These antibiotics are unavailable commercially and so we were asked to make them for her ongoing treatment. Harriet is on the road to recovery in the care of Lindy and ACT Wildlife but still has a way to go before she can be released back into the wild. We wish her well and all the people involved in her care. See more
