22.01.2022 Aintree Music Studio One-on-one Lessons are Back After the latest announcement of the Premier, we are excited to announce that our studio will be reopened earlier than anticipated, from Wednesday 28th October. We want to say thank you for continuing On-line lessons through these hard times. We are so proud of everyone who has adapted to our online classes and cannot wait to see you continue to thrive back in our studio. ... If you're interested to restart lessons at the studio, please follow the below instructions. Try to minimise the number of people you bring over into the waiting room. (Maximum two students with a parent or guardian) Wearing a mask is mandatory (children over 12 years and adults) as per the regulations. Wash or sanitise your hands before and after each lesson. Cough or sneeze onto your elbow, or a tissue (to be discarded immediately) Refrain from attending to lessons if you have even minor cold or flu symptoms. If you still feel fit enough to do your lesson, please request an online lesson on that day. Avoid touching areas such as unwanted books, display instruments, cupboards, windows etc, etc,. Do not attend too early for the lessons. If you have arrived early, please stay in your vehicle until the previous student has finished his or her lesson. We have put extra attention to sanitise all musical instruments and the classroom seating surfaces in between lessons. 21.01.2022 Being scared at the "Red #Recording Button" paves a tactful way to be a #confident_performer in front of an audiance. We at #Aintree_Music, use this tool in our lessons constantly to encourage our studens' #confidence in performing. After each and every piece we record a #performance_video to make sure we learnt all the concepts correctly. We make multiple mistakes, but at the end become very confident in our #performance.... These two talented students completed the same song this week and we spent some time recording it in the #online_class and also at home on their own. Well done Enara and Shekinah. Ever since the coronavirus shutdown began in mid-March, practically everything in our #Aintree_Music family had to be re-imagined. One-on-one lessons all went online; Student record keeping switched to chat groups; One on one feedback enhanced with pre and post recorded videos. Many #creative_teaching_methods have been employed to hone the #repertoire of our students.... Most of our students utilized these services very effectively. Surprisingly, some underperforming students on face-to-face lessons started to perform better on-line, with the additional support received from their parents and family members. We also managed to commence a couple of lessons on the other side of our state and one student overseas. #Kudos to all those students and families! However, not all students have been comfortable with this change, which compelled them to pause their lessons for a while expecting to see us on the #other_side_of_this_pandemic. We truly respect their decision as it is perfectly okay to be comfortable with how you choose to learn. However, make sure to keep up your rehearsing in the absence of lessons to #sustain your #musical_mastery. It is sad that we all must go through these #crazy_times, but we are thankful that our students now have an amazingly effective alternative to continue their musical studies even on the other side of the #pandemic.
