Aintree cricket club has opened up the Player registration for this season 20/21.The number of teams per age group will depend on the number of players. We ask that you register ASAP so that we can determine the number of teams we will have playing. Please register by clicking on the link below... https://www.playcricket.com.au/club-finder/club-details Details of the memberships fees is available during registration process but hasn't been finalised yet, so you don't need to pay the membership fees other than $5.00 insurance levy for all Juniors. For Junior membership payments , just select "Insurance fees only , pay reminder later" and for Senior payment please select "Pay offline". 13.01.2022 Aintree Cricket Club in MCG" Woolworths Junior blasters team visited MCG to perform an activity during the lunch break of the boxing day test on 28th Dec. All blaster champions loved it and it was an awesome experience for the juniors to be at such great venue. Aintree cricket club would like the thanks Mr Peter Brear from Cricket victoria for organising this activity for our juniors blasters. This was really encouraging for them.... We would also like to thanks the Woolworths junior participation officer Mr Owen Hullet and his team for such a great work. 11.01.2022 SPREADING KINDNESS | We've been blown away by the generosity in our neighbourhood over the weekend. After our post where we had you Thank a Healthcare Worker, w...e were able to give away a second free meal last Friday because of the kindness and generosity of a local community member. And then, on Friday afternoon, we had another community member pay-it-forward and buy a meal for a neighbour who is a healthcare worker. To top it off, over the weekend the Aintree Cricket Club has generously purchased 5 FAMILY MEALS for healthcare workers in our neighbourhood!! To say we are blown away by the kindness in our community is an understatement! Thank you to those individuals, and a huge thank you to the Aintree Cricket Club. We will be contacting some of the Healthcare Workers nominated last week with offers of a free family meal over the next few days! 10.01.2022 Hello everyone, Aintree Cricket Club has started planning the 2020-21 club cricket season, but are still unable to reveal the information on commencement of training schedules. The 2019-20 club cricket season ended prematurely in March as a preventative measure against the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.... Aintree Cricket club performed exceptionally well in its very first summer season 2019-2020. One of club’s senior team participated in GDCA division 3 competition was declared premiers after finishing number 1 on the ladder. Club has started working and looking forward to another successful summer 2020-21 season. The season will have to be a very flexible plan to make provision for all possibilities during these uncertain times. ACC have been engaging with Cricket Victoria in plotting the way forward and debating the most effective and practical solutions to resume club cricket in October. Based on the implications caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Once CV has firmed up its proposal and plans, our club cricket committee will meet and deliberate, and then we will engage with our clubs accordingly. 06.01.2022 Aintree cricket club would like announce our 2nd’s (DIV 3 GDCA) as PREMIERS for the 2019-2020 season and brings home the first cup for the club, due to the Covid 19 (caronavirus) the grand final could not go ahead but as the team finished 1st on the ladder and had a tremendous season.
