25.01.2022 WE HAVE RE-OPENED! It is with great pleasure, that Aintree Tennis Club welcomes back its members. We appreciate you have been eagerly waiting for the club tennis courts to be opened. As step 1 we have been able to get council permission to reopen tennis courts # 5-8. Please note that remaining courts #1-4 will remain closed at this stage but we anticipate they will be also be opening very soon. While we have been able to open, we MUST abide by the rules and regulations to... ensure health and safety for all. Please abide by the following rules. - following Government guidelines and to ensure tracing and tracking of users we ask all visitors to check-in with their details using QR CODE displayed at entrances. - maintain required social distances, - avoid sharing of equipment, - no handshakes, - use of personal hand sanitisers before and after the games, - use of masks before and after play, - only players to stay inside and Parents and guardians will remain outside the facility keeping social distancing maintained with others, - single play is strongly recommended. Only members of same family can play doubles. Overall restriction of 10 players in the court facility still applies. This includes all players on the overall playing facility, - coaching takes precedence on 2 courts. Due to malfuncting of NOKE locks, we have adopted a interim measure of installing the combination locks. The code for the lock at courts#5-8 is provided to members via email. Please lock and unlock with the same code before and after entering/ exiting. We are working to bring a swipe card solution to address any long term access issues.
23.01.2022 We hope this message will find you all in good health and happiness! We acknowledge all members will be keen to know when the the tennis club will return to normal activities. We are aware that restrictions to some sporting activities have eased. However, as a club we must continue to adhere to the advice from Commonwealth, State, Tennis Victoria and Melton Council. Melton council is currently developing procedures to enable clubs to return to play. Our current advice is that... measures required to open the courts require significant controls which are not considered feasible. Therefore all club activities, including coaching, remain on hold. As restrictions continue to ease and procedures are put into place, we remain hopeful that tennis will resume soon. Our committee is continually monitoring the situation and in contact with Melton Council to follow their instructions and guidelines. The committee will continue to provide members with further updates as further information is made available. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the courts as soon as possible. In the meantime, please stay safe and let's all do what is required to assist overcoming this health and public safety challenge. Finally, we really appreciate your patience and thank you for your continued support by participating and creating a healthy environment by abiding the law & rules in force. Kind Regards, Aintree Tennis Club Committee

Anyone playing tennis must Get In. Play. Get Out. We also recommend that everyone entering a facility is registered for tracking purposes and that is why our smart lock will keep a track of who is accessing the courts. You are again reminded to lock the doors on your way inside and also when you go out. Since reopening the courts, we have seen significant demand and interest in the sport. We understand that it is disappointing to have further restrictions placed upon us, but we must, of course, respect the public health directives and do our bit to help manage the COVID-19 pandemic. As a physical distancing sport, tennis is in a strong position to continue to provide exercise opportunities to assist the community to stay physically and mentally well during this challenging time. We are hugely grateful to all our members for supporting us and cooperating with the Club in these unprecedented times. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if we can be of help. Hopefully we can all do our bit to help contain the spread of Covid-19 virus. Stay safe and healthy. Thanking you, Aintree Tennis Club Management Committee

07.01.2022 The Aintree Tennis Club & Management Committee want to extend our sincere gratitude to We Love Aintree for their generous donation of $250 to the Club! While we prepare to resume tennis activities here at Aintree Tennis Club this would help us procure some equipment and gear for the sport and upcoming events. You have been very supportive right from the beginning and we greatly appreciate that. Thanks a lot!
04.01.2022 Dear Customers, Great news!, tennis coaching at Aintree Tennis Club will be starting from term 3. Enrolments are now open for term 3. Please text me if you are ...returning to coaching or not. Either way, I will give you a call this week to touch base. How do i enrol? Do i need to take any action? To enrol simply text me and i will manually enrol you into my software. I will call you to pencil a time in. (Hopefully your old day and time) Then i will call you again to lock it in after speaking with other customers. During the break, i have been working hard designing an award system for passing each level. It includes reward chart, stickers, certificates, badges and coloured t-shirts. I am super excited about this. First lesson back we will do a proper assessment of each player to see which level they should start in. I have invented a retractable backboard and they should be ready for sale in the next few weeks. The new design is welded together with aluminum and is ready in seconds or rolled up in seconds. More details to come on that soon. I purchased a good quality radar gun to check serve speed. I designed some hitting targets. There is much to be excited about so i hope to see you back on the court soon. Regards , Luke Hodgkin in2tennis Coaching
01.01.2022 Based on advice from Tennis Victoria we will reiterate our previous public message that Aintree Tennis Club has closed all the courts and it is not allowed for anyone to play on the courts whether you are a member or a non-member. Please stay home and stay safe. This is for your safety and certainly for the whole community. We appreciate everyone who has already supported our decision. We can't wait to recommence tennis activities in our beautiful community. Until then please... take care of yourself and your loved ones. Aintree Tennis Club Committee.
