19.01.2022 Last night, our NSW members were treated to an epic walk around Pyrmont led by the wonderful John Swainston and backed up with some fantastic Fujifilm cameras on loan. We trekked; 1.5m apart, masked and sanitised; through the fascinating streets of Pyrmont, educated by John with his amazing knowledge of some incredible local history and illuminated by a beautiful full moon. With our brief in hand, our goal was to compile a collection of images, narrating the title of 'City i...n Change'. The walk is going to be followed up with a zoom meeting next week after we have edited and submitted our images to the brief, where we will receive feedback on how well we have documented the title. An enormous thank you to John and FUJIFILM Australia for making the event so fantastic! We are very much looking forward to seeing the results next week! 13.01.2022 Over the last few weeks our AIPP Victorian President Emily Black has tirelessly and doggedly fought for Victorian photographers and their clients to enable clients to remove masks while being photographed/filmed. It has paid off! The campaign has been a success and with a tear in our eye and a virtual hug to our Victorian family, we can now celebrate alongside them. If ever you wondered why it was worth becoming a member, or maintaining your membership, it is for this. Our community is not just a social one, we advocate for our profession and give our all to maintain professional standards and give support for all photographers and videographers. So, well done AIPP Victoria, you have a solid team, and an amazing President at the helm, congratulations on the win.
