23.01.2022 Staying within Western Australia's Kimberley region (2,140 km northeast of Perth and less than 400km from the NT border) is the Mitchell River National Park. It is biologically significant as it contains over 50 species of mammal, 220 birds and 86 amphibians and reptiles. There is a beautiful 6km hike through the park featuring ever-changing scenery; clear streams and pools, shady pockets of rainforest, majestic cliffs and at the end a thundering waterfall. Prefer wings ...to walking? We can include a scenic flight over the falls as part of your tour. : Western Australia #mitchelplateaueau #holidayyourway #privateholiday

22.01.2022 For luxurious accommodation in a secluded area of the Kimberley Coast, we'd recommend including Berkeley River Lodge in your Western Australian itinerary. From the moment you step off our aircraft, at Berkeley River Lodge's private airstrip, you’ll be mesmerised by the beauty of this vast region. With no road access and its closest neighbours over 100km away, it is also one of Australia’s most remote luxury lodges. When travelling with Air Adventure Australia, it's 30min flight from El Questro to Berkeley River Lodge’s private airstrip. #privateholiday #privatetours #berkeleyriverlodge

19.01.2022 Further west along the Kimberley coastline, still within the heart of the great Kimberley wilderness, is Kimberley Coastal Camp. There is so much to love about this remote property: fabulous scenery, delicious locally-sourced meals, spectacular fishing, ancient rock art and amazing hospitality. With a maximum of 16 guests at any one time, and no road access, very few are lucky enough to experience this barefoot resort. : Kimberley Coastal Camp

19.01.2022 Travelling south from Broome (for approximately 400km), we reach Western Australia’s Pilbara region. This region is known for its red earth and vast mineral deposits. It boasts some of Earth's oldest rock formations and an ancient Aboriginal history dating back 30,000 40,000 years. Karijini National Park @Westernaustralia’s second largest national park is located in the Pilbara. We love to stay at the Karijini Eco Retreat and recommend spending a couple of days here to... explore the many beautiful walks with local guides. #privateholiday #karijininationapark #outbackaustralia

19.01.2022 The Kimberley region is known for its powerful tides of up to 10 meters. As they rise and fall in Talbot Bay (2,000km NNE of Perth) these tides produce an intriguing natural phenomenon. Rushing water is pushed through a narrow gap between two gorges, creating a rapid like formation and the illusion of a horizontal waterfall. The falls change direction, depending on whether the tide is coming in or flowing out. A truly spectacular and unique sight! To see the Horizontal Falls from the air and the water we love to include a seaplane experience from Broome with Go Horizontal Falls Tours, Western Australia. #horizontalfalls #privateholiday #scenicflights

17.01.2022 One Mile Beach, Broome, 2,000km NNE of Perth. We can arrange a camel tour, but a sunset cocktail is often how our guests prefer to watch the sun as it sets over the Indian Ocean as it is truly spectacular! #cablebeach #broome #visitbroome #privateholiday

16.01.2022 The Horizontal Falls are just one of the many attractions within the Buccaneer Archipelago (200km NNE of Broome/1,900km NNE of Perth). There are up to 1,000 rocky islands to cruise around with small embayments and secluded white sandy beaches. It’s a fabulous place to fish, see ancient rock art and watch the marine life. #privateholiday #tailoredadventures #smallgroups

11.01.2022 At 747m above sea level, Tom Price is the highest town in Western Australia (located approx. 1,000km north of Perth), it’s famous for having one of the largest open-cut mines in the world. The sheer size of this iron ore mine is incredible. A stark contrast to our previous highlights, that have revealed Western Australia’s natural beauty, this experience offers an insight into Australia’s mining history. The mine operates tours allowing visitors experience the working trucks,... shovels and drills, the crushing and screening plants and the train load-out area. Flying over the mine as we descend into Paraburdoo, provides another opportunity to witness its immense size. Tourism Western Australia #privateholiday #privatetour #smallgrouptours

09.01.2022 Venturing north from El Questro (approx 100km) you’ll find the spectacular Kimberley coastline. If you are looking to experience iconic Australian landscapes, this region is a must. It is here that our guests are amazed by the untouched wilderness areas with contrasting vibrant colours of the sandstone coastal cliffs, pristine white sands and clear turquoise waters. But before we reach the coast line, our guests are treated to aerials views of majestic orange cliffs of the C...ockburn Range. The Air Adventure way: Based on the type of travel and experiences your group is looking for, we can recommend the best places to visit. Much of this region is inaccessible via land, so our private flights are an ideal way to get around. Our aircraft's speed also ensures you will have more time to enjoy each destination. #privateholidays #customtours #cockburnrange #outbackaustralia

07.01.2022 As we make our way around Western Australia's Kimberley coastline, (still 2,000km from Perth) we love to include one of our favourite Australian scenic flights. Departing from Mitchell Plateau, we fly south, intersecting the Prince Regent River. The river, located on a geographic fault line, is a pristine waterway that cuts through sandstone cliffs and gorges. In some places, the vertical cliffs are 50 meters tall. We follow the river for almost 50kms past the Kin...gs Cascades, through the fjord lands, over the Horizontal Falls and down to Broome. This scenic flight is a 1hr 45 min visual feast! : Merryn #scenicflights #aerialtour #privateholiday

04.01.2022 Western Australia features heavily in our 14-day "Greatest Escape Tour." As part of this tour our guests spend seven nights cruising the Kimberley coastline with The Great Escape Charter Company. Exploring Montgomery Reef is a highlight. It's Australia’s largest inshore reef and as the massive tide recedes, is incredible to watch the reef, seemingly rise from the ocean. ... #montgomeryreef #privateholiday #thekimberley

02.01.2022 The mighty King George River, The Kimberley, Australia. Yesterday we shared a pic of this river’s twin falls. Today, we couldn’t resist sharing another image of this spectacular landscape, beautifully captured by @mandarinmandarin7. It’s sights like this that make air tours so special. #airtours #aerialviews #ancientlandscapes

01.01.2022 Standing an impressive 100 metres tall, the King George Falls on the north Kimberley Coast are Western Australia highest twin falls. When the King George River is flowing, it is a remarkable sight to see the freshwater plunging over the red sandstone cliffs and into the bay. They are located 60km northwest from Berkeley River Lodge, but there is no road access, so a cruise from Kununurra to the King George River gorge or a scenic flight over the North Kimberley coast a...re the only ways to experience these natural wonders. #privateholiday #tailoredtour #kinggeorgefalls
