25.01.2022 People often ask trades ‘what would you do in your own house?’ Well, here is my answer. When choosing air conditioning for our home we put in a Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Ducted unit, with linear slot grills in the main living space. These have clean lines that follow the lines of our home. In each bedroom we opted for individual Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Split Systems to match the size of the rooms. This means that at night we are only running small, efficient air conditione...rs rather than the large ducted unit to heat/cool one bedroom. So, in total we installed 5 air conditioners. This is energy efficient, gives us ultimate control and means that if one was to break down the rest of the house would still have heating/cooling until it could be fixed. From an installation perspective we had a lower initial cost at the build stage because we only had ducting to the main living spaces, we then installed the 4 split systems over the next 12 months.
