23.01.2022 Iso Insta Takeover with AIRBAG director Patrik Bergh. 1/ Just finished off a project for Bumble before lock-down kicked in. Fun shoot in the forest and the opportunity to do something slightly darker than on most projects. 2/ Gregory Crewdson was my visual influence for Bumble. Im a big fan of his work and wanted to find a similar location as to these pics of his. Crewdson has been used a lot by filmmakers for inspiration. And he in turn is very influenced by film. 3/ I prob...ably watch Paris Texas once a year. Visually stunning and with beautifully underplayed performances. And it has one of the best soundtracks ever! This film was a huge inspiration for me when I shot a road movie for Nissan. 4/ Been doing a lot of writing lately during the lockdown. Almost at the end of 1st Draft. Mightve been the end of draft 2 if it wasnt for kids home -schooling! 5/ Johnny Cash has been playing a lot on the speakers during this writing period.
