They total up to 20kgs (OMG) of assorted supplies and have been prepared in a package headed to Egypt. Medical textbooks were donated by Joyce Ng, an ICU registrar. 06.01.2022 THANK YOU TO MORE TRANSPORTERS Isabelle Mckay and Rose Kennedy, who are both medical students, travelled to Tupua Tamasese Meaole Hospital in Apia, Samoa. They were undertaking electives in the obstetric and paediatric wards. They donated 20kgs () of tailored obstetric and paediatric supplies, based on the hospital wish list. ... We were told by the girls that these donations were very well-received, particularly in he midst of the measles crisis affecting Samoa at the moment. This package was boosted by MSAP at UNSW. In 2019, we formed a partnership with MSAP. MSAP were able to provide financial support, that enabled us to purchase specific supplies that we would otherwise be unlikely to source from our donors. In this case, we were able to purchase a requested Otoscope/Ophthalmoscope set and paediatric tourniquets for the hospital. While she was there, she noted the need for more supplies and organised for her cousin, Shilah, who was joining her several weeks later, to bring more with her.
