14.01.2022 What are the benefits of working with @airbornestudioau? We are professional, licensed, insured, safe and fun! On Friday we captured the city scape both on the ground and in the sky for our client colliersresiaust In Pyrmont, we flew the drone in an area called R405A (Restricted 405 Airspace). Meaning, you can’t fly your drone recreationally or for commercial purposes unless you have a drone operators licence.... We had to apply to CASA for approval which included the following steps; - Job safety assessment - Risk assessment - Permit from Sydney City Council - Permit from CBRE - Notifying water police - Notifying the RMS (roads and maritime service) - Finally the approval from CASA once the above steps are complete For safety, on location we must have our high visibility vest and clearly marked signs of our operation. Before take off, we must notify the helicopters flying around Sydney Harbour that we are flying a drone in R405A. Well now that all the formalities are out of the way we can now capture the much needed content for our client.
