The project is a partnership between Northern Gulf Resource Management Group(NGRMG), QUT Digital Media Research Centre (DMRC), The Cairns Institute, James Cook University and @FNQ Regional Organisation of Councils @FNQROC This project is jointly funded under the Commonwealth/State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements in response to the Far North Queensland monsoon tr...ough 2019. Our first joint community consult was out in Croydon this week where the team met with local stakeholders to determine mobile, telecommunications and broadband failures throughout the region, and devise novel technical solutions and systemic improvement options for the future.
