From everyone at Airducter, past and present, we wish you all the very best on your future adventures and we all thank you for the opportunities you have provided us all with.

22.01.2022 Who remembers Airducter’s second workshop in Albatross Street, Winnellie? #flashbackfriday. We started in Coonawarra Road in what must have been the hottest shed in Darwin and then moved to Albatross Street

21.01.2022 Air Conditioning and Mechanical works are now well underway for the new Bunnings Palmerston being built by Sunbuild Pty Ltd in Yarrawonga, NT. This is the first two storey Bunnings in Northern Australia and includes approximately 32,000sqm of underground car parking and retail space.

16.01.2022 How adorable is this little guy! Last Friday we got a special visit from Thejan who is Lakshitha’s little boy. Thejan was such a good sleeper, he slept the whole time he was here. We hope to get many more visits from Thejan in the future.

14.01.2022 Can you believe it’s been 12 years since Airducter’s Head Office got it’s long awaited extension! Who remembers the old office?

14.01.2022 This was the official opening of the new Chiller Hall at Royal Darwin Hospital in 1989. At the time, this was the largest installation of its type in the Southern Hemisphere. 12.01.2022 Who knew air conditioning could look so good?! A recently completed project by Airducter

12.01.2022 Congratulations Deborah on your retirement. 13th December 2019 was a very sad day, not only for Dominic, but for all the team at Airducter. You will be sadly missed. I could write a book on Deborah's achievements at Airducter over the years, but there is a couple of outstanding achievements i would like to touch on, as these are the ones that sent Airducter on a journey of success. It was in the late 80’s that Airducter was awarded a large NT Gov’ contract for RDH which was ...to replace the existing chillers with a much more friendly type of refrigerant gas. In doing this, Deborah could see the high standard of work that was being achieved and identified the need to have this documented. With a young family life to attend to, she still took on the large task to put procedures in place to meet the ISO standards in Quality Assurance (QA). Due to Deborah's long hours and hard work in creating the Quality Assurance manual, Airducter was the first private company in the NT to have independent third party accreditation. During this period Deborah also became a QA Auditor, which allowed her to maintain the QA standards going forward. These standards, although some changes have since been made, is still there in the Airducter Company Hand Book today. Deborah's other outstanding achievement was her love and passion for apprenticeships and indigenous training. This was recognised by other training organisation's where she was invited to become a board member of Advanced Training International (ATI) (Larrakia Trade Training Centre). This positioned her to implement a training program for Airducter which is very successful and is still implemented today. As a result of her commitment to training and the community as a whole, Deborah was awarded an Order of Australia in 2019. As stated earlier, I could go on about her success as the Managing Director and her understanding of Corporate Governance over the course of her working career at the helm of Airducter, but there are quiet a few of us in the community that owe Deborah a big thank you. So on that note, we thank you Deborah for all your hard work, for propelling employees towards greater success, and for being an outstanding boss and mentor for us all. - Dom

10.01.2022 Airducter had the pleasure of entering the Rotary Club of Darwin Hole in One Competition, which is a ten week event that gives golfers a chance to hit a hole in one to win $1 million. The event raises funds for Rotary, Rotary’s Junior Sport Foundation, and the NO MORE Campaign. The NO MORE Campaign was founded by Charlie King and aims to reduce family violence in Australia. Unfortunately none of the Airducter golfers hit a hole in one, however they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we thank you for your participation.

10.01.2022 Congratulations to Jordan for signing up as an Apprentice Fitter. Jordan will be working at the Royal Darwin Hospital and Palmerston Hospital sites. The team here at Airducter are looking forward to assisting you in your apprenticeship!

09.01.2022 Since Airducter commenced business in 1983, we have always held the belief that we have a social responsibility to the community in which we operate. Below is a photo of a Darwin City Soccer Club team, which Airducter was a major sponsor of, at a game in Alice Springs in 1987.

07.01.2022 How amazing is this! For those that remember, Tejinder (TJ) used to work for us as a refrigeration technician. He had arrived into Adelaide from India and the job that he came to do didn't work out and was looking for a job when Airducter decided to take him on and bring him to Darwin. His community spirit is something that we are extremely proud of.

06.01.2022 MECHANICAL FITTERS WANTED! Airducter is now recruiting for Mechanical Fitters for maintenance work. If you wish to apply, please send your resume to [email protected]

04.01.2022 Taking #flashbackfriday to another level with a few snippets of our old induction video which was made back in 1997

03.01.2022 Airducter has always been involved in innovative products and services. In 1995 we became the distributing agent for O’Dour Out for the Northern Territory and Kununurra. This product was installed at various locations around Darwin and was a simple and the most effective way to ventilate your toilet and bathroom.

02.01.2022 Airducter has a position available for an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson. Click on the link for further details!

02.01.2022 #flashbackfriday to the good old days when the Airducter golf team would loose and we’d happily accept the NAGA Award. And yes our golf team was called the Airducter Cockroaches
