23.01.2022 Hello Thursday! Tip of the day! Remember to schedule your week so you keep up with your cleaning habits. This is how i do it: (i like to start on Mondays, but you can choose what ever day suits you best and make it your Monday (just follow the order i will give you below)... Monday: Organising my week in my agenda and scheduling how long it will take me each day Tuesday: Tidy up and dusting the hole house (i use a duster instead of a cloth, i find it better and easier) Wednesday: Cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms to maintain them clean weekly Thursday: Vacuuming the hole house Friday: Mopping the hole house and making beds once everything is cleaned (love this) Weekend: Just tidy-up and washing cloths REPEAT Weekly! First of all let’s begin with: HABITS TO KEEP YOUR KITCHEN SPOTLESS: Putting everything away as soon as you use them. Not that hard to begin with (just do it). Even easier if you develop a system for the things that are regularly ending up on your counter top. Dealing with dishes ASAP and ditching dishwasher guilt. This is the single most important one. Wipe all the countertops, because to properly wash counters, they must be cleared off. Wash & wipe cabinet doors so there is no nasty food marks. Wash sink properly once a week you won’t regret it! Clean the kitchen stove after cooking, it makes it way more easier to remove anything that was spilled while cooking, instead of leaving it there and coming back after a week & spending doble of your time trying to get it off. Mould colors may vary based on their age and the conditions under which it grows. WHAT ARE THE MOST COMMON COLORS OF MOLD? BLACK MOLD: Black mold favors cellulose materials, such as cardboard, hay, paper, wicker, and wood. Furniture, cabinets, flooring, and even wallpaper are common locations for black mold, especially in the most humid rooms of a house (i.e. bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, basement). -The reason behind black mold’s notorious reputation is not only its capacity for quick maturation and rapid growth, but also its hardiness under harsh and changing environmental conditions. Basically, black mold is very difficult to completely remove. BROWN MOLD: Brown mold is a general term for several species of mold that commonly grow on wood. Brown mold comprises those molds that are brown to tan in color. Brown mold appears as dark patches on hard surfaces. It may look like fuzzy growth or small moist blobs. All types of brown mold have an unmistakable unique musty smell. This type of mold typically grows on plywood and other wood surfaces, but you can also find it in the bathroom. Window sills or between tiles are common places for brown mold. Walls are also common habitat for brown mold to grow, especially in damp or dark spaces, such as an attic or basement. You can always get rid of brown mould with a damp cloth with water, and a spray bottle of vinager. PINK MOLD: Pink mold is mostly found in moisture-rich environments like bathrooms where it can feed off soap and shower products however it can be found anywhere. It is a common bathroom mold, frequently found growing around damp window frames and on caulking. If you’ve been wondering how to clean walls without removing paint off naturally without using any heavy toxic chemical stuff. You are going to love this! HERE IS HOW TO CLEAN WALLS WITHOUT REMOVING PAINT OFF You will need: *Vinegar *Detergent *lukewarm water *microfiber (this is an important one) Simply combine 2 to 3 tablespoons of white distilled vinegar with 3.8L of water in a bucket or similar container. Test-clean a select spot on your wall. Pick a small area, wet the cloth in your mixture and squeeze it until the excess water has been wrung out. Wipe the area in a circle, using minimal pressure. DIY DUSTING SPRAY INGREDIENTS... 1 cup distilled water (distilled water, or boiled tap water, will help the solution to last longer) 1/3 cup white vinegar (for extra cleaning power, you can use up to 1/2 cup if you want extra cleaning power, or down to 1/4 cup if you can’t tolerate the smell) 1/4 cup almond oil (you can also substitute fractionated coconut oil or olive oil, all of which will help to nourish and shine, especially on your wood pieces) 30 drops of citrus essential oils (gives it an amazing smell!). Let’s break it down in a few steps:... HOW TO MAINTAIN A BATHROOM CLEAN? Dusting all surfaces of the bathroom so it doesn’t accumulate & when it comes to a deep clean (perhaps once a month) then it’s just much more easier. Maintaining shower glass screen: Shower screens are generally made up of plastic and other synthetic polymers. Over time you can see that a layer of dust and dirt settles on it. It's important to clean your shower screen from time to time or even better after every shower to keep your shower screen sparkling. The best way to do this is to have a Squeegee in your shower so you don’t forget to use it. This is a great tip and it will help you maintain your glass screen without any hard water stains. Of course when it comes to the deep cleaning you have to use your glass cleaning product and clean them properly. Toilet Cleaning: The best way to maintain a clean toilet is to, at the end of the day apply your toilet cleaner to the sides of your toilet bowl, let it sit there for 5-10min or so (sometimes i leave it over night and clean it in the morning), then scrub with a toilet brush and flush! Wipe the bowl from the outside with a cloth so the dust doesn’t build up and ta-dá! This will help you maintain your clean toilet and if it’s not every night you can also do it every few days. Sink Cleaning: The best way is to have cleaning gloves underneath the sink so every 2-3 days just spray a little of multipropose let it sit for a few seconds and wipe it off directly with the gloves, have prepared a dry cloth to wipe the tap and leave it shinny.
