17.01.2022 We are getting a lot of questions about the speed of AirFi and decided to post our answers :) We can't really compare speeds to other providers because our solu...tion is unique and differ vastly from any internet services out there. We are proud of the fact that our AirFi solution is an "Australian First", and this came from the regulator! The other providers all sell you an internet pipe with "speed". That speed is with a contention ratio and you will see all of them are now forced to show "typical peak time speed" on the brochures they deliver with the NBN plans. Then there is the case of "bursting" that is even more complicated, but in a nutshell, bursting allow you a "burst of speed" to provide improved performance for a short period. (e.g. running a speed test) *Forgive us for seeing the humor in using that example... So how do we compare ? Well we offer our clients the ability to stream and use multiple devices at home at the same time because we don't sell you an internet pipe, we sell you a connected solution. We manage the bandwidth end to end on a "fit-for purpose" basis and some services and devices have priority over others in the network. That means that the speedtest results on AirFi are actually capped and not showing the real capacity ! We are happy to answer all the questions and explain we we are able to do this, but you are required to sign up on the Web page so that we can meet you for a coffee and a discuss what we can offer.

05.01.2022 We are keeping up to date with the ever changing environment and urge the community to adhere to all the government's announcements and regulations like I have seen most do. I would also like to personally caution the larger community that is calling for a "lock down" to research what that means before you cry out for it. This is NOT something any of us want to happen and as long as we all keep to the measures put in place by the authorities we can make sure that we delay a...nd hopefully avoid it all together. I know that our AirFi community members are doing just that and we are grateful to be able to help keep you connected in these times. Keep safe and be mindful and respectful of others!
