24.01.2022 The Courier Mail reported last week that QLD Health Minister, Steven Miles has issued a final plea to Queensland Councils to introduce fluoride to reticulated water supplies. There appears to be a powerful push from the big pharmaceutical sector to reintroduce fluoride to QLD, whether the constituents like it or not and some are bowing to the pressure. It's perhaps the strongest signal seen thus far, that the Government is poised, yet again, to mandate fluoride injection into... the water systems across the state. If that is the case, and it becomes law for Councils to introduce this, then the "Nanny State" is in full swing and the only way to exercise our own level of control over what we ingest is to abandon reticulated water for drinking. What are our choices? 1. Stored rain water: Certainly, this is better than ingesting water laden with chemicals we don't want - ie: fluoride, chlorine etc. However there are some risks with this. The risks include infections from viruses and bacteria that are deposited on the catchment surface (ie: the roof) by birds and other creatures along with airborne chemicals that end up in the tank and have a pathological effect on the human organism. 2. Water Harvesting: This is probably the best choice. It comes at a slightly higher life cycle cost than rainwater storage but negates the risks attached to rainwater catchment and storage. Water is harvested from filtered air and is purified with charcoal filtration, reverse osmosis and UV lights to kill any pathogens. Harvested water tastes absolutely fabulous and has a great Return On Investment (ROI). 3. Bottled water: This is the highest cost solution but also a short term, convenient solution. It's available from supermarket shelves and is subject to food handling rules so the risk of suffering ill effects from this is low. However, cost is a big issue. If you want low cost, clean water and want to take away control of what you put in your body from others, who seek to make these decisions for you and want to force their view on you, then contact us. We can help with pure, fluoride free, chlorine free, air harvested water.

18.01.2022 How much water should I drink? It’s easy to be confused by this as there is such an over-abundance of advice from so many sources that one could be forgiven for throwing up their hands and saying ‘What’s the use? There is an answer and it can be distilled down to this For most people, the experts say: 1.5L 2L per day. Simple.... So how do all those, who are talking about drinking 3L per day or more, arrive at these figures? Let’s look at how the body processes water. Obviously we need to restore water that is lost to maintain the moisture equilibrium. So here’s a table of how a healthy body loses that moisture: 1.3L Urine 1L Perspiration 0.4L Breathing 0.3L Faeces The above adds up to a total of 3L lost from the body in any given day. Of course, hard physical work and hot conditions lead to more moisture loss which will need to be compensated. However there seems to a discrepancy here. The experts say we only need 1.5L 2L of water per day, yet our body is losing 3L or more per day. That’s going to leave us dehydrated, isn’t it? Not necessarily. The solid food we eat provides around 1L of moisture and an extra 0.5L is in the form of fluid in milk, softdrink, tea, coffee, beer, wine and soups and other liquids we consume. To reach a total intake of 3L we need to supplement this with at least an extra 1.5L of good, clean water to maintain reasonably good health. How many glasses of water are there in 1.5L? Approximately 7 of them. So if you have been trying to drink 14 or 15 glasses of water a day because the experts have said we need 3L per day, you can relax a little. That figure includes all forms of water intake including food. In fact drinking too much water can be just as harmful to our bodies as not drinking enough. Drinking a lot of water (and that means more than 4-6 litres) over a short time can upset the body's sodium balance, and cause water intoxication or what is known as hyponatremia which can lead to death. Water is amazing stuff and vital to our existence and well -being. To benefit from it, we need to prioritise to using the absolute best quality water available. Talk to us about pure, natural, air-harvested water. No chlorination, no fluoridation, clean, cool and unadulterated. Our best-selling machines make up to 30L/ day and come with full warranty for $2499 delivered to your door.
16.01.2022 After reading this, you will never ever want to drink tap water again! Here's why. Chlorine is commonly used by town water authorities to kill infectious diseases in the water supply. It does a very good job of that. However, it is a two edged sword. In addition to killing pathogens in the water, when we take it into our bodies, as water from the tap, it damages or destroys the gut flora, which are so vital for good health, in our digestive systems. If you want it explained i...n a more scientific manner, here goes 1. Chlorine oxidises lipid contaminants in the water, and creates oxysterols and free radicals, 2. It destroys protective acidophilus, which nourishes and cooperates with the 'friendly' organisms lining the colon, where about 60 per cent of our immune cells operate. 3. It combines with organic impurities in the water to make trihalomethanes (THMs), or chloramines, which are carcinogens (cancer causing). The Journal of American Water Works Association reported in April 1992 that in a study of more than 5000 pregnant women, those who drank more than 5 glasses a day of tap water that contained more than 75 parts per million (ppm) of trihalomethanes (THMs as mentioned above), had a 9.5% risk of spontaneous abortion. Those with lower exposure showed a 5.7% risk. Too many free radicals created by chlorinated water also generate toxins in the body. These toxins have been directly linked to liver malfunction, weakening of the immune system and pre-atherosclerotic changes in arteries. In addition, too many free radicals have been linked to alterations of cellular DNA. Chlorine also destroys antioxidant vitamin E, which is needed to counteract excess oxysterols and free radicals. A study reported on by the New York Times in October 1980, analysing thousands of cancer deaths, found that chlorinated water appears to increase the risk of gastrointestinal cancer over a person's lifetime by an astonishing 50 - 100%. This was water containing chlorine at or below the US Environmental Protection Agency's standard. Chlorine in our water is extremely damaging to us. We should never be drinking it! So what do we do? If you find you are not well sometimes and doctors can’t seem to put their finger on what’s going wrong, it just maybe that changing the source of water you are taking into your body from a potentially damaging source to a known clean, good quality supply is a step in the right direction toward recovery. If you want to live a long and healthy life, it is imperative that you get rid of chlorine from your water diet. The best way to do this is to take your water from an atmospheric water harvester (AWM). You know where the water has come from. You know what is in it or more importantly, you know what is NOT in it. Talk to us now and we’ll have one delivered for you. [email protected]

11.01.2022 Preppers think about this all the time. Have you wondered what you would do if the current water infrastructure failed? Remember the rule of 4's? We are not likely to make it if we don't have AIR for 4 minutes, WATER for 4 days, FOOD for 4 weeks and so on. If our water infrastructure fails for some reason, it needs to be restored within a few days or as individuals and as communities, we are in deep strife . A natural or man-made disaster can easily place us in that predicame...nt. Government providers do the best that they can but they are not infallible and we would be foolish to think that they are and place full reliance on them. Consider what happened in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit - "The main drinking water treatment plant for the City of New Orleans (the Carrollton plant serving a half million residents) sustained water main breaks, fire, and flooding ...The high winds and heavy rain drenched, short-circuited and ignited electrical equipment. A team of workers extinguished an electrical fire after the wind blew out a window in the powerhouse. After the levees were breached, the Carrolton plant was flooded causing the backup generators to be shutdown." - Emergency Response for Public Water Supplies after Hurricane Katrina Our take away is this - If we have a source of standby power - be it a standby generator, solar, battery bank or similar along with a Water Harvester, we at least have a workable backup plan to care for our family's needs if the unthinkable occurred. Interestingly, many people stockpile food for emergencies but don't think too much about their water supply and it should be right up there with the short-time survival basics. 07.01.2022 PREPPERS. Have you thought about what you will do if your water supply is compromised? We can last about 4 days without water and the quality of life on the last day will be very poor. Our cognitive ability our ability to recognise things and think clearly is very quickly diminished the longer we go without water. After about 3 days, the organ damage is substantial, very quickly leading to death. So what sort of things can compromise our water supply? ...Continue reading
07.01.2022 How is it possible to get drinking water from the air? It’s no trick. It’s simply using natural laws and resources. If you think about it, every time it rains outside, water comes to us from the air using the natural water cycle. A water harvester uses cooling techniques and effectively creates the rain inside the unit where it is collected and made safe for drinking....
