23.01.2022 The Lorne Aquatic Club was sanitised by Air Health Australia yesterday. The premises was treated with Surfex , the highest grade of disinfectant. It is included on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods and is intended for use in hospitals.... Surfex is proven to kill Clostridiodes difficile (and spores)*, Norovirus, Parvovirus, VRE and Coronaviruses including SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). It provides a significantly superior clean over chlorine based disinfectants. We applied it with fogging technique which is shown to effectively + gently sanitise curtains, carpets and other soft furnishings. This means that we can reach up to 85% of surface areas unlike traditional disinfecting techniques which largely treat hard surfaces and only reach up to 35% of surface areas.
