07.01.2022 A new initiative from the Australian Government is helping older Australians to access online banking with confidence. The online banking course was launched by eSafety Commissioner, Julie Inman Grant, as part of the Be Connected program and seeks to make online banking both safer, and more accessible, to older Australians. Many seniors are still uncertain about using online banking. While statistics show that two-thirds of seniors undertake online banking at least monthly, ...many have concerns about the security of their funds when using the platforms. This course, Ms Inman Grant says, is vital to increasing confidence.

04.01.2022 Visit to WA Museum Boola Bardip 25th November 2020 The museum is situated just north of the WA Art Gallery and adjacent to the State Library with Beaufort Street on the east side. James Street between the Art Gallery and the Museum is a pleasant pedestrian area with trees shown in the satellite picture on the right during construction. The passage ways connecting the galleries are very wide and bright with plenty of benches as resting places between galleries. The differe...nt levels are connected by this beautiful gold spiral staircase as well as lifts, stairs. There is also a pleasant licensed café on the ground floor where you can enjoy a coffee and snack . There are many installations that show many light and sound effects, plenty of digital displays which respond to touching which is a hit with young people as well as curious seniors!
