23.01.2022 A recent mechanical upgrade at Target Wodonga included a crane lift to remove the existing R22 compressor sets making way for two Carrier water cooled screw chillers. As part of the Montreal Protocol, the environmentally damaging R22 gas is slowly being phased out and replaced with more efficient alternatives. To further increase efficiencies, the replacement of the existing BMS resulted in a system better suited to the equipment and building.

21.01.2022 To say that COVID-19 has impacted many business operations would be considered an understatement. In 2020, affected companies have had their business models turned upside down, have scrambled to introduce new OH&S methods, and for some, reinvented the way they deliver their services. A BMS upgrade at Dumas House, is just one example of the lengths Airmaster will go to in ensuring the delivery of services and projects still meet our client requirements. Working closely with Facility Manager, JLL, the BMS cutover was completed over the Easter Weekend, the only date possible at the time.

12.01.2022 With facilities having an eye to a future operating within a COVID-19 environment, it is clear that there are new operational challenges to face. A simple, yet very effective way to ensure risks are mitigated and efficiency is maintained is through the application of ultraviolet (UV) light technology. This energy efficient technology is a well proven solution for removing pollutants associated with poor indoor air quality such as bacteria, viruses, mould, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), and strong odours. #uvtechnology #covid19solutions

10.01.2022 As part of Airmaster's work towards Reconciliation, we are proud to celebrate National NAIDOC Week and recognise the achievements and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders peoples. This year’s theme ‘Always Was, Always Will Be’ acknowledges the First Nations peoples have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. NAIDOC Week 2020 acknowledges and celebrates that our nation’s story didn’t begin with documented European contact - with the arrival o...f the Dutch on the western coast of the Cape York Peninsula. The very first footprints on this continent were those belonging to First Nations peoples. Nationally we are encouraging our staff to attend the many physical and virtual events available. To learn more about the history of NAIDOC Week you can visit their website. https://www.naidoc.org.au/ #NAIDOC2020
