24.01.2022 Hi, Folks an update on what we have been doing. Working hard to produce a new website and developing our own online training system. The IT director is doing loads in this arena and hopefully soon we can roll out our new courses. We have updated our logo and you should be starting to see this soon on all our company mediums. At the moment we are also converting all our present course onto Prezi for a more interactive presentation style. We still are using traditional PowerPoi...nt for those who prefer it. We have applied for CASA approval as a CRM company and are also looking at the IMO approval for the maritime industry. So a very busy time, watch this space and take care what ever you do. In addition to our initial courses covering aviation Crew Resource Management (CRM), set to the Australian (CASA) pilot syllabus. We now have two shorter courses, with more to come, covering Non Technical Skills (NTS). These are the skills we as humans use to negotiate, discuss and communicate on a daily basis. 23.01.2022 It is really nice to be able write the first post of a great new company. However, it is really sad that it is to share our feelings at the loss of one of the emergency services aircraft in Ireland. Rescue 116 crewed by wonderfully dedicated people, was lost in the line of duty the other night. They have saved so many lives between them. The team at Airmid send our warmest wishes and condolences for all the families, the emergency services of Ireland and all those who knew the crew. RIP Rescue 116. 19.01.2022 We've been very quiet of late not because we have nothing to say but more that we are exceptionally busy. We are delighted to announce our first customers for our SAR course have gone through our online groundschool and have given us some exceptional feedback. The course is compliant with CASA 29.11 and leads nicely onto the flying elements which we can also organise through our partner training school. 11.01.2022 Well happy New year from Airmid, we have an exciting year ahead with a fair bit going on. We are in the tender process to a assist a company in Kazakstan with training. Simon our Technical Director has been working hard on our website and some new projects we have on the software side. One of which is our new online training academy, we are really excited about this. We hope to start rolling out courses in this quarter. These will include A SAR ground School, A Part 145 MRM c...ourse, A Part 61 CRM course and our first course out will be a Team Resource Management Course for any companies who need human factors training. We have a requirement for a B1 or B2 LAME with a cert IV in Training And Assessment to assist us with the Part 145 online course, please contact us via the website. 08.01.2022 Since January we have been busy developing our CGI skills and using this technology in our lessons. As the AW609 nears final certification, we have developed a CGI model of the SAR version, which will soon be integrated into our SAR Ground School package. This aircraft we believe, will be the next leap in SAR capability in Australia and around the world. Airmid was proud to sponsor the Tilt Rotor seminar in Brisbane last year and meet like minded professionals with a passion for this technology.

07.01.2022 Project Thunderbird is a project that hopes to introduce ground breaking technology to the Australian EMS/SAR market place. The AW609 (https://lnkd.in/gc37xwQ), is a game changer and the collaboration of fixed and rotatory wing technology in one platform lends its self our requirements and is a life saver. I am in the process of organising an event in Brisbane sometime in November/early December, to bring together all interested parties. I would be beneficial to have EMS/SAR providers, CASA, AMSA, Emergency Services and both federal and state Government emergency service departments.
