25.01.2022 We are down here now. Look for two guys. One in a red top one in a black top.
25.01.2022 So we've been relatively quite recently, we had a few ideas for date in regards to a meet and greet around november, but that fell through due to other commitments from the Victorian crew (think exams, uni and similar pursuits). We have started to introduce ourselves to our local MPs and will be gaining their support before moving forward. We will have a template for you guys soon, so you can join in. We are also in the process of setting up meetings and such under the guida...nce of the SA crew who have been leading the charge. Finally, we have a few messages from you guys which I'll be getting too over the next few days. Sorry for the late reply. More to come around Sunday/Monday. -Jordan
24.01.2022 Unfortunately nobody turned up to the vic meet and greet. It's disappointing to see that when volunteers take time out for you guys. -Jordan
23.01.2022 What's up guys, In case you haven't been on the main page I'd like to announce here that we have been incorporated! We are still waiting on the certificate, but this was a big hurdle we got over. -Jordan
23.01.2022 Hey guys! We know that activity here is low and we don't often update you guys on what is going on in relation to Airsoft in Victoria. Well let me give you guys the run-down. Recently the AACV has become an incorporation. For those who don't know what this means, it means we are legally recognised and can do much more to get Airsoft legalised here.... On top of that we are currently working on what our next move will be, and how we're going to make it. We want to ensure that this is all done correctly so it will take a bit of time. Now in regards to the amount of updates. Well unfortunately legalising Airsoft isn't something that can be done in a few months and progress isn't something that happens overnight. A lot of the time is spent waiting for the Government's reply and that does take quite a while, hence why the AACV has only just become incorporated. But I promise you guys that I will provide you with updates as we make our progress. Some of you are wondering what YOU can do to help speed up the process. Well here it is: Spread the word! Get your friends onto the main AAC page and onto THIS page as well. Not only that, but spread the word to others. I hope this helps you guys understand what it is we're trying to achieve, and what we need to do to get there. Peace ~Cookie~
19.01.2022 Update. The Victorian Branch got all the finished paperwork back and received their Certificate of incorporation. The Victorian team had to jump through a few hoops to say the least. ... -Jordan
19.01.2022 Hey guys! Just giving you an update on the meet and greet. A few of us here have a busy schedule for the next little while so the meet and greet will be on hold until we can find a time that doesn't clash with outside duties. We do endeavour to have this as soon as we can! ~Cookie~
17.01.2022 Hey guys! So QLD had a great turnout at their meet and greet. I'm thinking it's about time we organised one here! So give it a like if you're interested and comment on this post where you'd like it to be at! ~Cookie~
15.01.2022 Can we reach 300 likes before the end of the week? Share this page with your friends and anyone else you know! We can do it! ~Cookie~
14.01.2022 We've had a swell of likers recently. I'd like to welcome all newcomers to the page! It's an honour to be able to represent you in the fight for the legalisation of Airsoft, not only here in Victoria, but in all of Australia :) ~Cookie~
10.01.2022 Are you guys ready to become members of the AAC? Josh
09.01.2022 Recently, Dan, the SA State President has organised for a meeting with the SA Police Minister to put forward our views on Airsoft in Australia. We are presently building a submission to present to him. Do you have any letters or documentation that may help us with this submission ? We are seeking any letters you may have sent to politicians and their replies, positive and negative and any other documents you may have in support of Airsoft. The larger the reference library we... can build the more credible information we can use in our presentation of why Airsoft should be legal in this country as it is worldwide. Can you email any documents you may have to Dan at [email protected] or Phil at [email protected]. Your support and help with this is greatly appreciated. _Phil_
08.01.2022 Hey guys! ~Cookie~ here! I'm currently the Vice President of the AACV here in Victoria. My current goal, apart from getting Airsoft legal for all of us, is to get some more people involved in the fight. That means, whoever joins the AACV, will be a part of the Council and will help us push legislation. You guys will be a part of the fighting force that is the AACV.... We need people who are willing, dedicated and committed to getting Airsoft legal and are willing to help us out. I'll be doing a proper recruitment message sometime later in the week. Keep an eye out for it. If you think you got what it takes to join us, then be sure to chip in when the time comes. Looking forward to seeing all of you soon! ~Cookie~
07.01.2022 Infinite possibilities await guys! All you have to do Is contact your local mp and get them aware of airsoft and it's virtues!!! OK GO!
07.01.2022 Feel like you have something to offer the AACV team? Then send the page a message and we'll see if you've got what it takes to help us with our fight! We're always looking for new ideas and more people to help the cause. ~Cookie~
07.01.2022 We NEED YOU to email Nationals MP Luke Hartsuyker. It only has to be very short, "Dear Mr Hartsuyker, please take the time to consider the benefits that Airsoft would have in Australia, and please take some time from your schedule to meet with members of the Australian Airsoft Council to discuss this sport.... Regards" send it to [email protected] We need a meeting with this man, and the only way it will happen is if YOU show him it's an issue important to you. Let us know what you emailed him... Take 30 seconds from your day, make a difference.
06.01.2022 Welcome to our new likers! ~Cookie~
