23.01.2022 Did you know that our facility has two dedicated Water Quality control officers who ensure that our pools are some of the cleanest in the country? These two legends take the safety and wellbeing of visitors very seriously and help us maintain a COVID safe environment.

22.01.2022 Your wellbeing is our priority, we are working hard to maintain a safe environment for you to exercise. Some of our COVID changes in the gym are: Hand sanitsers, Disinfectant wipes, 1.5m spaced equipment and frequent cleaning of touch points by our staff. Thanks for keeping us safe this morning Brad!

21.01.2022 It has been exciting to see the smiling faces of both children and instructors over the past two weeks as the Swim School resumed Term 4 lessons. We are very appreciative that everyone has followed our COVID safe protocols as they have returned to the pool. To those of you that missed out on securing a place in Term 4, we thank you for your understanding that we could not accommodate the high demand this term. We do hope to have more places available in Term 1, 2021. Keep an eye on this page for when enrolments open in January.

19.01.2022 Whilst we are buoyed by the careful and gradual easing of COVID-19 restrictions in the ACT related to sport and recreation, the AIS is focussing its initial phase on returning high performance activity to the campus. We anticipate this period of high performance sport reactivation will last at least until late June. During this initial period of time, we dont expect to re-open facilities to the public, but we will continue to plan for reopening when appropriate to do so. Please check back here for updates and we look forward to welcoming you back to the AIS as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

19.01.2022 Urgent advice regarding interstate hotspots With the situation rapidly evolving across NSW as well as Victoria, we need to be extremely cautious about potentially introducing infection onto the AIS campus. We therefore require that if you have been in any of the NSW hotspots, anywhere in Victoria or in Batemans Bay since 13 July, that you are not to come to the Aquatic and Fitness Centre for at least 14 days since you were last in these locations. The same is to apply going f...orward for any new hotspots identified by ACT Health. We are in a strong position in the ACT at the moment but we all need to work together as a community to ensure it stays that way. If you develop any COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, muscle aches, unexplained fatigue) you should self-isolate and be tested. Please keep an eye on the latest advice at www.covid19.act.gov.au and comply with any Public Health Directions regarding self isolation. We thank you for your cooperation.
