23.01.2022 AITC is now fully operational with online council meetings across the country, giving every professional member the opportunity to log in and be a part of the discussion, development and growth of a Registered Chef Process. Only registered members can login and attend and only professional chef registered members are informed the access details. At the last council we were informed there are very few members who have not paid their outstanding fees nor have registered their c...ontinuous points with the probability they will be removed from registration as a professional chef unless doing so. 07.01.2022 Following two successful trials, a new private platform for AITC broadcasts for nation wide meetings of members is to be used. This will replace face book broadcasts . AITC members will receive notices of time and day and links to meetings. ... The new platform allows very clear two ways audio and every members will be able to see and personally participate in discussions. Videos will also be on AITC website in members only area. The next online national meeting will discuss members opinions of the most important issues that face the commercial cookery industry. We need a general snapshot view from members as previously requested. WHY... The three most common AITC concerns will be tabled at a proposed meeting of the five legally constituted associations who have professional chefs as members. The associations have agreed to meet to discuss and table their own associations concerns. If deemed necessary, explore potential strategies to work together in a concerted effort to improve professional practice in commercial cookery.
