19.01.2022 #weRtheCHURCH is back on November 20 with more inspiring stories of how Adventists are sharing the love of Jesus in their communities around the South Pacific. ...The theme for the event is Sowing the seed, based on the second stage of the harvest cycle process to become a disciple-making movement. Similar to the August event, the November event will be broadcast live from the Adventist Media studios in Wahroonga. But it’s going to look a little different this time with a new set and new features, including live music and interviews. There will also be three hosts: South Pacific Division president Pastor Glenn Townend, Dr Narko Tutuo and Avondale University College theology and ministry student Renée Vaovasa. See more

03.01.2022 Do you sometimes struggle in your prayer life? Do you ever wonder, "what can I do to be more effective at praying"? Well, look no further. Here are seven ways y...ou can upgrade your prayer life. 1. Pray in faith. Doubt hinders our prayers from being answered. God doesn’t want you to waver between faith and unbelief. Faith is the key to unlock God’s blessings! (James 1:6) 2. Persevere in prayer. God wants you to be persistent in prayer. Oftentimes, asking God one time is simply not enough. Sometimes our blessings are just around the corner. Don’t give up! (Luke 18:1) 3. Pray with humility. Remember you are approaching almighty God. Be willing to accept whatever answer He chooses is best for you. (2 Chronicles 7:14) 4. Surrender. God will not hear our prayers if we are purposely disobeying His teachings in the Bible. We have to surrender our lives to Him. (Psalm 66:18) 5. Forgive others. If we expect God to be merciful to us and hear our prayers, we are to also be merciful to others who have wronged us. (Matthew 6:15) 6. Pray according to God’s will. When we pray according to God’s Word (Bible) and His values, we have assurance that our prayers will be answered. (1 john 5:14) 7. Pray honestly. God is not impressed by fancy words in prayer. Tell Him what's really on your heart. Prayer is like opening your heart to a friend. (Matthew 6:7)
