23.01.2022 There are plenty of myths out there about the COVID-19 vaccines Here are the facts! The COVID-19 vaccines are safe despite being developed quickly, and here ...is why: All available resources and efforts have been directed towards finding an effective vaccine, due to the urgency of protecting people from the COVID-19 virus. Unprecedented levels of funding and collaboration between vaccine developers and governments around the world. Technology has evolved to make vaccine development faster than in the past. New technology has allowed researchers to quickly identify the genetic code of the COVID-19 virus, soon after the virus emerged. Clinical trials progress more quickly if a disease is widespread, which is the case for COVID-19. Researchers can evaluate the effect of a vaccine between the unvaccinated and vaccinated groups much sooner than for a rare disease. For more information, please visit: https://bit.ly/3s0eFN9

22.01.2022 Another important AJ First Aid update in light of recent news. AJ First Aid will continue to train albeit differently. We ask if you need your certificate for employment to still attend, however if NOT please stay home. If you have any symptoms; fever, dry cough, shortness of breath, runny nose - please call and re-schedule. If you arrive at a course and we feel you are symptomatic you will respectfully be asked to leave. We will be applying social distancing for all seating, modified CPR demonstration, and using alcohol gel and disinfecting wipes during the day. Training will be reduced to to 4-4.5 hours with minimal breaks (coffee and drinks only) and limited class sizes. We appreciate your understanding during this time.

12.01.2022 We always want to brighten up your morning, but we think Stacey Edwards has done a better job than we ever could! Stacey snapped five-year-old Harrison Edwar...ds, while he was checking out his barley, north of Lameroo a few weeks ago. She said that it was such a beautiful day that she'd almost forgotten about the pandemic for a minute.

06.01.2022 Hi All! We’re all still copping the side effects of the COVID-19 and some may be feeling a little cabin fever. Remember that it is still important to take a break and relax. Jump in the car and see what else SA has to offer.... Cheers!
